:It would be good if we can find a suitable reference for the claim "served on the board of Sonic Corp. from 2014-2018" as, without looking at the previous Person Details reference, I can only find her LinkedIn and a few other websites which repeat that claim but no announcements or a publication of that kind. Do you know if such a reference exists? [[User:Simeon|Simeon]] ([[User talk:Simeon|talk]]) 17:56, 8 May 2023 (UTC) |

Hello, I work for DICK'S Sporting Goods, and I’d like to suggest the following updates to this page.
- In the infobox, I would like to add to Lauren’s title that she is the President and CEO of Dick’s Sporting Goods.[1] The lead should then be updated to read: Lauren Hobart (born 1969/1970) is an American businesswoman, and has been the President and CEO of Dick's Sporting Goods since February 2021.
- I would like to remove that Lauren is on the board of Yum! Brands, as she is no longer a board member. [2][3]
- I would like to add that she is a board member of the Marriott. [4]
- I would also like to suggest the following updates to the Career section:
Hobart worked for Wells Fargo and JPMorgan Chase, followed by 14 years at PepsiCo[5] in a number of leadership roles, including CMO of Carbonated Soft Drinks in North America.[6][7]
She joined Dick's Sporting Goods in 2011 as senior vice president and chief marketing officer.[8] In 2015, she became executive vice president and CMO, and went on to become chief customer and digital officer. [9]
Hobart served on the board of Sonic Corp. from 2014-2018 and on the board of Yum! Brands from 2020-2022. [10]
Hobart is President of The Dick’s Sporting Goods Foundation. She initiated the Sports Matter program in 2014, which provides grants, equipment and sponsorships to underserved youth sports programs. [11] [12]
I'd also like to offer an additional reference for the following sentence: On February 1, 2021, she succeeded Edward W. Stack (son of the founder, Dick Stack) as CEO of Dick's Sporting Goods. [13]
