Bidupur is a community development block in Vaishali district in the Indian state of Bihar.[3] The main Post office is Bidupur. Bidupur is one of the 16 blocks of Vaishali. Kacchi dargah-Bidupur bridge will become largest bridge of India in 2024. Bidupur is fastest developing after Hajipur in vaishali.[4] There are 116 villages in Bidupur block.[5]

History

Bidupur is a place of historical importance. One of Gautam Buddha's disciple Anand has got parinirvana here.There is a bhinda in Madhurapur where many things of ancient history have been found. Many early paintings, scriptures, stones are there. Every year after Durga Puja a mela and kirtan is organised remembering Anand. The kashthariya mandir in Bidupur is also a place of historical importance.
