"Unofficial end of summer" section

This whole section seems questionable, but in particular it references a "two-week vacation" as if that's common (it isn't in the US) and cites what is little more than an op-ed piece in the Washington Post (but labels it as Travelocity) as justification for it being the "end of summer."
