Global Fashion

As many have said before, this article deals heavily with North American fashion while not giving any information on fashion trends occurring around the world. Someone should divide this article into either continents or countries and have sources from those locations give information on the fashion trends.

LEAVE THE DATES ALONE!

The next time some genius wants to change the dates for the "early," "mid" and "late 2000s" sections, can we PLEASE discuss it here first? I thought unregistered users were blocked from editing this article.

Dates in ‘Gallery’ section left open-ended, or are unspecified.

There are many dates within the gallery section of the Wikipedia page which does not give specific details on the time period. One example is on the picture with a girl in skinny jeans saying “popular from (2007?-2009?) to present, even though there has definitely been a decline in the popularity of skinny jeans - especially as of late. Inconsistent naming in ‘Gallery’ section

In the Gallery section, some photos featuring known entities are captioned with their name (Leeann Tweeden, Amy Winehouse) while others are not (Helena Mattsson & Chris Ajaxon as “Swedish actors”, Hebe Mien as “Chinese pop singer”). Y2K aesthetic should NOT redirect here.

The Y2K aesthetic was arguably an art movement that started off in mid-90s and was present not only in fashion but in physical design and media. This article has very little on the basis of Y2K fashion anyways. To have an art movement that started in the mid-90s redirect to a 2000s fashion page that contains very little information of the fashion of that art movement is disingenuous. 172.116.113.102 (talk) 07:54, 17 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
