EastEnders is a British soap opera, examining the domestic and professional lives of working class people who live in the fictitious London Borough of Walford in the East End of London. The show airs on BBC One and entered its 39th broadcast year on 1 January 2024 with episode number 6831. Chris Clenshaw continued his role as executive producer, while Kate Oates continued as senior executive producer. During 2024, EastEnders typically aired four episodes in a time slot of 7:30 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays with episodes being around 27 to 29 minutes long.

During 2024, EastEnders typically aired four episodes of roughly 30 minutes in a time slot of 7:30 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, though episodes are sometimes moved or extra episodes added for different reasons. Kate Oates continued her role as senior executive producer from 2018,[1] and Chris Clenshaw continued his role as executive producer from 2022.[2]
