Neutrality

I wonder THeShavidow1, No Swan So Fine, CybJubal, SimplyLouis27, ThingsCanOnlyGetWetter if "defected to the Labour Party" should be changed to something like "left the Liberal Democrats for the Labour Party". Mcljlm (talk) 20:54, 9 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

As the person who wrote that sentence, I'll explain that I chose that word because it was the language used in the article cited. When I wrote it, I had no intention of comprimising the neutrality of the article. However, I do understand your perspective and will support the consensus reached in this discussion.
