Dennis Pennis

Is it worth adding the bit about when Dennis Pennis (see Paul Kaye) asked Martin 'why aren't you funny anymore?' that he cancelled he all subsuquent press interviews? Saccerzd 15:39, 23 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Grey/Gray Hair

Does anybody know why Steve's hair turned silver at such an early age? --Savethemooses 01:56, 1 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Mensa

The article states that Steve Martin is a member of Mensa. I know that Martin has written humorous pieces on Mensa, but I can't actually confirm that he is a member. Does anyone know anything about this? My suspicions are aroused because that person who added the mensa ref to this article also claimed that Jodie Foster and Sharon Stone were members, and that does not appear to be the case. func(talk) 20:00, 28 Apr 2005 (UTC)

    • No reply from Mensa. I didn't really expect one, but I tried. Catbar (Brian Rock) 04:43, 4 Jun 2005 (UTC)

I am a member of American Mensa and checked the member listing directory (Mensa requires that you allow your name to be published), and while there is a Steven Martin listed as a member, it doesn't appear to be the comedian. This merely means he isn't a current member. It's possible he was a member and let his membership lapse.

question

In The Man With 2 Brains, can anyone tell me about the song that Miss Uhuh... was singing, something like "I like-a you and you like-a me..."? It often goes through my head and I've tried a bit of googling and haven't satisfied my curiosity! thanks Paulc1001 12:09, 12 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

If you like-a-me, like I like-a-you And we like-a-both the same, I like-a say, this very day, I like-a-change your name. 'Cause I love-a-you and love-a-you true And if you-a love-a-me. One live as two, two live as one Under the mango tree

-The above song is called "under the mango tree" — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.15.152.68 (talkcontribs)

What is this supposed to say?

"In 1997, Martin played a darker role as an rich man manipulating inventor Campbell Scott..." Wha?? --Atario 08:56, 18 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Cheaper by the Dozen 3

I'm removing this from the Filmography section (again). The movie does not exist and there are no plans for it being made. Also the Wiki page for Cheaper by the Dozen 3 was recently deleted as it was a clear violation of Wikipedia is not a crystal ball. --Mothh 05:03, 20 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

adding tag

I added a neutrality and factual dispute on the section of Movie Career. The first paragraph requires citation and is not written in a neutral style. Naysie 11:55, 24 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Czechoslovakian (sic)

The adjective formed from the country "Czechoslovakia" is "Czechoslovak". For example, "Czechoslovak culture" or "Czechoslovak music". "Czechoslovakian" is incorrect.Sladek 16:48, 17 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
