Sorry to bother you, but as an Inclusionist wikipedia things are getting desperate and I need to appeal to your for help. We are facing a situation where a deletionist admin is free to declare inclusionist arguments "absurd" and ignore them at will. If you don't agree with this situation, please share your opinion here. Contra Dance talk pages

Eitch, Are you knowledgable on how to move parts of a page, with associated history to an archive page? About half of the text on the contra dance talk page could be put into an archive without regret, such as the name change discussion. Obviously not very exciting work, but it would ease future conversations. I'm ignorant of how to do that elegantly and correctly. Yellowdesk 03:43, 26 September 2006 (UTC)

License tagging for Image:Contra corners-3.png

If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. No, actually :) [My (Sept 13) nearly content-free edit to amiina/Amiina] was actually directed at everyone reading the page except you and L!nus (and I've pointed him to this explanation) — you've put forth your views, with evidence, which is good, but it seems the way to resolve this particular debate will be to reach an explicit consensus. Since we can't take a vote, we can at least encourage people to speak up.

In my (Sept 13) edit to the talk page I start with a summary of the debate, because the discussion is so long that people might be discouraged from reading through it. So… I don't mean any offense, but I think it'd be good for us to hold back for a bit. Of course I'm not saying you shouldn't contribute when you feel it's necessary, but let's give people some time to speak up. --Eitch 18:09, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

Citations to sources for the several contra dance articles.

What I intend to mean is there are many many paragraphs (of very good) text without reference to any published works. As a project, it would be great to get some references to the many claims about what is involved in contra dance. Especially so the articles can be defended from critics saying that the article fails to meet up with Wikipedia standards. And I admit, I could / should be adding references from the books that I have on hand.
