Trivia
- During his performance at the 2005 Premios Los Nuestros, Daddy Yankee came into the show in a red Lamborghini, which was pulled down from the roof of AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami, while singing Gasolina[citation needed]. This moment was voted as the best moment of the show by online voters at Univisión's website[citation needed].
- In addition, the song gained Daddy Yankee popularity in Europe, allowing him to fill a stadium in Madrid[citation needed].
- The song was remixed in late 2004, featuring Pitbull and N.O.R.E, and was also a smash hit. Later, Lil Jon mixed his own vocals to the remix, which is featured on the Crunk Juice remix CD. The song was also used in the 2006 film The Benchwarmers.
