I am also happy that he has now an article. Most of the articles in Hebrew that do not have an article in English are about places in Israel, or people that have a local importance but may not be well known elsewhere. Shalom Yoav! You forgot to sign! Always try to remember. About the ICCF national member federations article there is no reason it should be deleted unless its a repetition of existing material, but there are allot of redlinks! So I put the under contstruction tag on it so as to give you more time to...

  1. Locate the articles and link them appropriately
  2. Create some of the red linked articles.

About those two chess articles, there is no need to delete them just because there are no sources on the web, just read WP:CITE. All you need to do is cite a source so long it is verifiable, see WP:V.       • Anything here on Wikipedia is the right thing so long it is in good faith. About writing each other, the best thing to do is to reply to my message here on your own talk page. Thus if I right you, then you reply where I wrote you (i.e. your talk page), if you write me, then I would reply on my own talk page. Yes, I know its weird, we dont have actualy message boxes. It would be great if you could expand that article, and perhaps to translate some Hebrew ones. So if you contact me say tomorow, its better to right on my talk page in case i've forgotten. I see that your Hebrew is even better than I thought! But I do not think that the problem is the commas as in the earlier articles they appeared as well (I just checked that it's true...) Any way - I erased every thing and started anew and the same happened. I will try now to erase the whole article and create it again....   • There are few things to say about these chess articles.
  1. There must be a good lead paragraph for every article entered explaining a little what is going on! See also WP:LEAD.
  2. Wikipedia doesnt realy like "lists". Lists are usealy reordered in categories. But since in this case I think you will be given time to write up some stubs about these people.
  3. It is better to word the titles instead of providing abbreviations. I know a GM is a Grand Master but i dont know what the others are unless i searched them!

I did an effort to demostrate what I planned , so please take a look in the ICCF Austria to see what was my intention. Of course I cannot do it all alone , but this was the idea. At the moment there is a problem with interwikying images from one language wiki to another. The pictures there where uploaded on the Hebrew wiki site when they should have been uploaded to wiki commons so that all language wikis can share the images. If you ever upload images, do so to WikiCommons. It will soon be compulsory. Thanks for expanding those articles. Perhaps you can create articles on Moshavim that have no articles at all yet here. Just shows me that I am even more stupid than I thought. I will take both Moshavim lists , and the difference will be all those that do not appear on the English list. But my question was more general: how can I find , in all the 51000 or so Hebrew articles, only those that do not have an English link so that I can choose the interesting one to translate? Not that I do not want to translate about Moshavim , but there are many other interesting topics...

I think you would have to ask someone on the Hebrew wiki that question. Yes there are allot of interesting articles on the Hebrew wikis that could be translated into English here and also vis a virsa. Check out Amala and Kamala for example, its not in Hebrew... On your website, you say that 500+ or 700+ endgames with R+B vs. R, they failed to hold the draw. I sent you email asking how many wins there were, to put that figure in perspective. I didn't get a reply to the email. How many wins were there? Bubba73 (talk), 05:52, 28 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Here are the results: in my database I have 1340 endgames that reached R+B vs. R out of them 686 ended in draw --YoavD 20:10, 28 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Just about half, that is interesting. One of the major endgame books (I don't remember which right now) thinks that the reason R+B vs. R comes up more often than you might expect is that the the defender heads towards it knowing that it is a theoretical draw, and the attacker knows that it is quite hard to defend. Thanks for the kind message. I can read Hebrew, and I understood what you wrote. However, it is easier for me to write in English.

Right now I am active in translating Hebrew articles into English, especially for articles about Israeli communities and Regional Councils. Unfortunately, the templates in the Hebrew articles do not carry over into the English Wikipedia, so I usually don't bother with them. If you could help me to create the map on top, the navigation box on the bottom, etc. that would improve the quality of these articles. I have a few more articles to translate in Gilboa Regional Council, and you can see the navbox in the Hebrew version.

I can help with translations of English to Hebrew of chess masters. If you give me a list of three prominent chess masters, I'll try to write articles on those people, and then I can tell you if I want to continue. Shalom (Hello • Peace) 23:35, 12 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
