Should that be included inside? [[Special:Contributions/60.48.95.17|60.48.95.17]] ([[User talk:60.48.95.17|talk]]) 09:42, 20 March 2008 (UTC) |

looking for a way to count all edits to all pages (not just specific to a single user)
I need to provide site level activity counts and report on that, within a MW site namespace, as well as across all articles in all namespaces in a MW site. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 32.97.110.142 (talk) 16:01, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

List of pages created?
Is there any way to get a list of all pages I've created? Special:Newpages allows to search by username, but says that pages older than one month are not shown."
Thanks --Chriswaterguy talk 03:32, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
- I am curious about this too. The article says: "Escaladix' tool, counts and shows all articles and redirects started by a given user" But the link to the tool doesn't work. Any help appreciated. Voorlandt (talk) 23:14, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
- This is a very urgent need... I looked all around for the exact same thing today... Zilch, nothing. The best way, apart from creating an external counter, would be to add another category to the Special:Contributions page, a "Page Creation Log". That shouldn't be so hard to do. Check the edit on the page history, see if theres any edit before it. If not, its a page creation. Otherwise, see the page size before the edit. If its 0 bytes or not defined, its again a page or redirect create. Sniperz11talk|edits 09:37, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
- Escaladix's tool seems to not work properly. Simply south (talk) 01:43, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
- It works again now!Voorlandt (talk) 19:10, 5 March 2008 (UTC)
- Sort of. I've tried and yes it goes through to the tool but no matter what username you put in, it says the user doesn't exist or hasn't created anything. Simply south (talk) 19:18, 5 March 2008 (UTC)
- You are right, just tried it and it is broken again! Last week it worked perfectly, and it displayed all the articles I created (luckily I copied them to my user page), today it doesn't work at all. So it seems very erratic!Voorlandt (talk) 09:18, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
- Works again... Voorlandt (talk) 11:44, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
Question
Can anyone tell me why Kate's tool edit count is just over 100 less than my edit count in "my preferences"? Which is more accurate? Ctjf83 talk 09:44, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
- Your edit count in your preferences includes contributions that have been deleted, like from pages that have been deleted or from specific edits you made that had information that needed to be removed from the history for legal reasons. Kate's tool only includes edits still on Wikipedia. --rm 'w avu 11:38, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you for your quick response...especially the one on my talk page! Ctjf83 talk 17:56, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
Edit count of a page?
Is there a way to find out how many edits I have made to a particular Wikipedia article? —BrOnXbOmBr21 • talk • contribs • 11:10, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
- Check out http://tools.wikimedia.de/~interiot/cgi-bin/Tool1/wannabe_kate. Scroll down... it doesn't give u the edits for all pages, but only the top 10 or so, which you've made most edits to. Sniperz11talk|edits 09:32, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks so much; that’s exactly what I was looking for! —BrOnXbOmBr21 • talk • contribs • 11:43, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
Interiot Tool 3 now broken?
The link [1] seems to be broken.--Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 18:39, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, and it has been for a couple of days... does anyone know when it will be back on? Sarazyn • 丁人LK • DE 14:07, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
- It's working again, but not for all projects! Sarazyn • 丁人LK • DE 13:09, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
Statistics for Vandalism
In order to analyse the impact of vandalism are the following statistics available for a particular article:
- the number of editors who have this article in their watchlist
- article read rate (something like, # times article is read per day)

Interiot's
Could someone put interiot's tool near the top or bold it, as it took me a while to find a link from all of them that worked, and was friendly to look at/intuitive/easy to understand.
Thanks very much! Drum guy (talk) 19:11, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
Userbox
Would it be possible to get a userbox that counts edits? Daedalus (talk) 05:14, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
- It's possible to add JavaScript to your own account to get a userbox that counts your edits to your own view (it's at WP:US/S somewhere if I remember correctly), but not to create a userbox that counts edits whenever anyone views it. --ais523 17:27, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
- Could you clarify why it is not possible for a counter to be created for the number of times "anyone views it". Because that is what I am after. BradMajors (talk) 07:18, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
- If you select "my preferences", you can see "Number of edits:". -- Wavelength (talk) 10:48, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
