The Nakusp Music Fest is an annual music festival held in Nakusp, British Columbia which is situated in the West Kootenay region of British Columbia. Held every summer usually in the month of July it is touted as the British Columbia Interior's Largest Classic Rock Festival, even though it isn't the only genre of music being played at the event.[1]
The inaugural event was held in 2004 with over 10 acts including the likes of Dr. Hook, The Randy Bachman Band, Trooper and Wide Mouth Mason.[2] In 2008 from July 18-20 the 5th annual Nakusp Music Festival will be held featuring 15+ artists including the likes of Smash Mouth, Prism, BC/DC, Aaron Pritchett and Paul Rodgers.[3]
