WTLZ softened its sound to a more Adult Urban direction in [[1999]] and reimaged as "Hot 107," cutting back on (but not totally eliminating for several years afterward) Rap and Hip-Hop product from its playlist (though Hip-Hop was played mostly at night).

Hot 107.1 is now the Tri-Cities' outlet for the [[Tom Joyner]] morning show and [[Michael Baisden]]'s [[Love, Lust and Lies]].
