I wonder whether the word "eclectic" is used in this article in its ordinary sense, rather than as the name of a particular group of physicians, which appears to be implied by the capitalization of its initial letter and by the presence of a link to a non-existing article, "Eclectic." Apparently beta-sitosterol (found in several natural remedies for benign prostate hypertrophy) blocks the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone. This ought to make it effective against male-pattern baldness, too. See beta-sitosterol. Unfree (talk) 06:04, 18 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I started using it for my baldness months ago, and when my mom was cutting my hair earlier, she stated it had helped greatly. My hair is much thicker, and there is new growth appearing everywhere, including on the bald spot itself. I took it years ago for my prostate, and after just a few days, it took affect. After a time, I stopped using it, since the problem was cleared up. I wasn't aware about the increase hair growth it was responsible for at the time. Anyway, anyone looking for information about it, it does work. And you can get it cheap too. Dream Focus (talk) 17:57, 30 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
