International Wrestling Revolution Group (Grupo Internacional Revolución) is a Lucha Libre independent promotion based in Mexico. Founded in 1996 by Adolfo Moreno and currently controlled by his three sons. IWRG has its own championships and television. In recent times the company has tried to become a competitor to both CMLL and AAA, acquiring a national tv deal with TV Azteca and using a number of talent that have left the two promotions. IWRG's home base is Arena Naucalpan, though they have often ran shows at Arena Neza as well.

Relationships with other promotions

Ultimo Dragon Gym/Toryumon

IWRG was affiliated with Ultimo Dragon and Toryumon (Ultimo Dragon Gym) until 2001. The early Toryumon Mexico shows were co-promoted with Ultimo Dragon in Naucalpan and his students regularly worked the promotion's shows. CIMA, SUWA, Yasushi Kanda, Susumu Mochizuki and Magnum Tokyo have all notably held IWRG championships.

Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre

IWRG developed a talent agreement with CMLL in the early 2000's, which allowed them to use top CMLL talent regularly, as well as being used by CMLL as a sort of developmental ground for rookie talent. The two promotions had a falling out in late 2007, seemingly over IWRG using El Hijo del Santo in disregard for CMLL banning him from affiliated shows.
