== Triple Point ==

Thanks for reaching out.

I do think that Triple Point is notable.... I added several articles analyst reviews written by outside, third-party references that talk about Triple Point.... I thought that would help fill the 'notable' requirement...

Binary fission

Interesting image. Could you color the insides of the chromosomes yellow, to match the rest of the cytosol (so it doesn't look like these are separate compartments). Also, bacteria are usually quite rigid due to their cell walls, would it be possible for the cell periphery to move about less? Thanks Tim Vickers (talk) 16:21, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

New version uploaded Image:Binary_fission_anim.gif. I am having a hard time with the rigidity but I'll play with it more soon. Zab (talk) 03:50, 1 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for improving this. However, when I said "yellow" I meant that the image should only have one color inside the cell membrane, the area inside the circular chromosomes still looks like it is a different color (looks a bit more yellowish) then the rest of the cell cytosol (which looks a bit more greenish). License tagging for File:Abercrombie.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Abercrombie.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 10:09, 15 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

anand sheela

hi . which is the best tag to use ..I want to protect the image as much as possible .. It is definately free to use on wikipedia ! with restrictions .. which is the template for that (unsigned comment by User:Off2riorob)

Hello, if you uploaded the image yourself, consider a Creative Commons license with attribution. Take a look at this list for tags possible to use. The first two are good choices. You must decide how best to license the work. Zab (talk) 21:22, 18 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Zab, good to see you around the wiki. About Ginger Rogers and the Craterian, I didn't look at your refs, but the new info you added to her article and in the theater article seem to imply that it was only named after her because of her early performance there. But isn't it more notable that she lived in the area for over 50 years and that was why she was so-honored? Katr67 (talk) 21:20, 20 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I am having a problem determining why she was credited even after reading the few references I have (not even newspaper talked about the renaming ceremony). I know she donated a bunch of money to the restoration and yes she lived here, but since finding a mistake on the theater website (along with a couple other contradictions) I am being more cautious than usual. I almost did not even edit her main article... This week I will visit the historical society and see if I can find a recording or something solid. Zab (talk) 00:19, 21 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Awesome. Thanks for your attention to detail. Inaccurate websites that you can't fix yourself suck, don't they? I mentioned in the theatre article that she lived in the Medford area, the implication being that there's some sort of connection, but I didn't link the actual naming of the theatre to that fact. Hopefully that's OK for now. Katr67 (talk) 14:56, 21 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

re: your edit summary regarding reorganizing counties per WP:USCITY--that's what I do, especially since the county WikiProject seems to be inactive right now so no guidance is forthcoming from them. I think it would be nice to have the county and city articles, at least the Oregon ones, consistent with each other. So far no one has had a problem with that. Katr67 (talk) 16:22, 30 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Agree

I fully agree with you about United States government electronic data provider. Just have it deleted now:

  • It has no references
  • Is is even notable?
  • I also think the article is meaningless.

I vote: DELETE! --Sky Attacker (talk) 04:44, 1 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have put it up for deletion here--Sky Attacker (talk) 05:13, 1 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your opinion

Response as pasted to talk page of Gaia Octavia Agrippa (talk · contribs).
Hello, I equate these kind of responses as Wikipedia:Canvassing as it can absolutely only be prompted by my comments at WP:RFA, but I will say that if you run for admin again in 6 months you will most likely get my support. My opposition is because I feel like you want to be admin to bypass normal WP:CSD delays. Your work fighting vandals is priceless but can I offer a little WP:DGAF? You will make a fine admin some day. Zab (talk) 23:36, 8 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for Answering!

Zab, thank you for the California map I asked for. Allow me to introduce myself. I am known as Typingwestern015. You replied to my "California should have a map, too" column I put up in Talk:2009 swine flu outbreak in the United States, remember? Thanks for helping me realize that there are confirmed reports of swine flu (H1N1 virus) in my county, and no other counties bordering it. Typingwestern015 (talk) 02:27, 10 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

P.S. Do you like BrainPOP?

RfA Thanks

Thank you for supporting me in my recent RfA, which unfortunately did not pass with a final tally of (45/39/9). I plan on addressing the concerns raised and working to improve in the next several months. Special thanks go to MBisanz, GT5162, and MC10 for nominating me. Thank you...

Thank you for your support

Unfortunately, my RFA was closed recently with a final tally of 75½/38/10. Though it didn't succeed, I wanted to thank you for your support and I hope I can count on it in the future. Even though it didn't pass, it had a nearly 2 to 1 ratio of support and I am quite encouraged by those results. I intend to review the support, oppose, and neutral !votes and see what I can do to address those concerns that were brought up and resubmit in a few months. If you would like to assist in my betterment and/or co-nominate me in the future, please let me know on my talk page. Special thanks go to Schmidt, MICHAEL Q., TomStar81, and henrik for their co-nominations and support. — BQZip01 — talk
