"I Invented Sex"

"I Invented Sex" is the fourth official single off of Trey Songz's third studio album Ready. It features Canadian rappper Drake, although he was not featured in the music video. Drake's verse on the song was taken from a song he made called "Do It Now".[1]

Remix

The remix was released on December 7, 2009 which features Usher and Keri Hilson.

Music Video

The music video premiered on Trey Songz's YouTube channel on November 5, 2009, it was directed by Yolande Geralds and was shot without Drake's verse. The music video also premiered on television back-to-back with the follow-up single, "Say Aah". The music video contains the parental advisory logo in the beginning due to the explicit content in the video of Trey Songz and a woman engaging oral sex in bed. At the end of the video, the words to be continued appear.

Charts

On the week ending November 7, 2009, "I Invented Sex" debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at #90. The following week, it moved up to #80, and it currently sits at #54.
