Hi. I'm new to Wikipedia and after 3 posts you are already accusing me of vandalism! I just don't understand what I have done wrong. I was attempting to give some facts about the history of contaminated blood in the uk, using information which I have helped put together as secretary of another group - how can it be copyrighted if I helped produce it? I removed all links and re-wrote it in other words and you still took it off. Please explain what I am doing wrong because I am now scared to post again as many others are ready to add things to this site which we hoped would be a valuable source of information. I use Wikipedia all the time but this has really made me hesitant about contributing. I don't want a campaign site - I've got that - just a source of information.

If you feel that I have reverted an edit or issued a warning in error, please click here and let me know. I am human, and I do make mistakes. Please don't interpret an error on my part as a personal attack on you. It's not, I promise. I ask you to simply bring it to my attention; I am always open to civil discussion. Thank you.

Thanks again for your help in the past with the dermatology-related content on Wikipedia. We have continued to make significant progress with the Bolognia push. Also, the most recent project popular page statistics are out, and the list of cutaneous conditions continues to rise, now #49, up from #65 last month. Thanks again for your support! ---kilbad (talk) 01:12, 5 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! I've started Anti-NMDA receptor encephalitis; you may be interested in this as a medical student. Happy 2010 and cheers, --CopperKettle 18:12, 11 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Requesting you for Adminship

Minimac94 (talk) 11:08, 7 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thank you for the nomination, i appreciate it, and i will accept it, actually i was waiting for it, thank you again and am so grateful to you :-) MaenK.A.Talk 16:59, 7 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I would urge you to reconsider running for now unless you can assure us that the two Huggle errors you made today are unlikely to happen again; I would not be willing to support an admin who seems liable to make judgement errors like that. Also I note your edit count seems rather low lately; though that won't cause me to oppose, it may make others wonder if you're really here this time. -- Soap Talk/Contributions 19:19, 7 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, I thank you for your concern, and I assure you i will be more careful and more active, for now, the closed the RFA, per WP:SNOW, but I will rerun soon, with better contributions and less huggle mistakes, and I ll be more prepared for this, thank you again MaenK.A.Talk 12:28, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop reverting my edits

I am deleting someone's text because they wrote "LOLOLOLOLOLOL......" all over it. I keep seeing it being reinstated and am wondering why you would put all of the vandalism back. Please warn P90god for vandalising the page. 24.16.96.51 (talk) 17:50, 7 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

sorry for bothering and i reverted every thing, and removed you warnings, take care and welcome MaenK.A.Talk 17:55, 7 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect Huggle reverts

Hi there. You reverted an edit by Clockbox (talk · contribs) on Alyssa martinez in which the user blanked the page and replaced it with a G10 (attack page) speedy deletion tag. Policy specifies that users are supposed to blank the page when tagging under that criteria. Nevertheless, you reverted the edit as vandalism and restored the obviously libelous, attacking content to the page. I have once again tagged it appropriately and hopefully it will soon be deleted. Please be more careful in reviewing an edit before you hit the revert button, especially when dealing with issues as tender as attack pages. Thanks, NickContact/Contribs 18:25, 7 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I ll make sure to be more careful next time, thank you for correcting my mistake :-) MaenK.A.Talk 18:28, 7 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

RFA

I have closed your RFA per WP:SNOW. If you have any questions concerning this closure, please feel free to ask. Kevin Rutherford (talk) 06:57, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

Hi Madhero88, thank you for the warm welcome to Wikipedia you placed on my Talk page. I didn't know for sure if I should answer it there or here so I did both :) Thanks again. ILuvLilG (talk) 21:15, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Tugan-Baranowsky

Thanks for the greetings. User-account: well, always too much to do, and I edit too rarely (and in too many Wiki languages) to keep track of my own tracks. Just fell across the Tugan article (I am interested in the fellow) and got annoyed by the confusion between an MA (magister in Russian) and a "magistrate" (with link to latter). But the art. also badly needed some englishing (Slavs have no articles, hence never know where to put "the" or "a"); did some of that - more could be done. On the article in general too - strange that the Ukrainian author omitted the touching fact (according to Wiki-RU) that Tugan-B died in 1919 (of the swine-flu of that period?) on the train that took a Ukrainian delegation to Versailles to be heard about their claim to autonomy (they weren't heard - changing the national frontiers of a victor country was not on the agenda, only for the losers).

Hi, thank you for your contributions, and be sure that if you join you will have a global account on all the wikipedias in all the languages, and remember you would lose nothin if you join, but you will help to get things more clear and organised MaenK.A.Talk 15:17, 11 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Eh?

Did you even read my edit summaries before reverting my edits??? 86.159.221.187 (talk) 15:28, 11 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

So sorry i missed the quotes, i thought its a part of the article MaenK.A.Talk 15:31, 11 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
But that doesn't explain why you reverted my edits without reading my edit summaries. You can't ignore someone's edit summaries (which clearly explained what I was doing), then accuse them of making "unconstructive edits" and say that their edits are "not allowed". The really insulting thing is that in your reprimand on my talk page, you advised me to use edit summaries. I DID AND YOU DIDN'T BOTHER READING THEM BEFORE TREATING ME LIKE A VANDAL. I thought Wikipedia editors were supposed to treat other editors with respect, not contempt. 86.159.221.187 (talk) 15:38, 11 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Also, you only addressed one of my edits that you reverted. What about the other one?? 86.159.221.187 (talk) 15:39, 11 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I am so sorry again, and i didn't mean any disrespect, i red the summery, but the thing i missed that the word bullshit was inside the quotes marks, am sorry again, and please consider joining and reading that edit, thank you MaenK.A.Talk 15:44, 11 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
"Please consider... reading that edit"? I don't understand. What edit do you want me to read? 86.159.221.187 (talk) 15:45, 11 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I red it, it was my mistake, and i am sorry for that revert MaenK.A.Talk 15:47, 11 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please slow down while reverting

At Ministro Pistarini International Airport 186.136.134.12 (talk · contribs) made this edit making a mess of the page, please scroll down and look at it. 189.135.88.222 (talk · contribs) then restored the correct/standard version which Clubot reverted. 189.135.88.222 then fixed the page three more times with edit summaries only to be reverted by three different editors. While I realise that there is a lot of vandalism going on there still needs to be time to stop and see what a person is doing before you revert them. Thanks. something lame from CBW 09:14, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Help with table position

Hi there - You kindly offered your help, so I have a question for you :-) I have placed a (discography) table in the page I'm constructing, however when not in edit mode it appears in the wrong location. Within my code it is positioned directly under the 'Partial Discography' / 'Albums' headings, however on the actual page it shows up at the bottom (i.e. below 'References' and 'External Links'). Am I missing something obvious here? ;-) Your help would be appreciated, thanks! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Overeasy456 (talkcontribs) 13:19, 13 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, yea am here for help, And its corrected now, the only thing you were missing is the |} at the end of the table, that was the problem and it is corrected now, and a general note dont forget signing your messages with ~~~~ MaenK.A.Talk 13:27, 13 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Many thanks! Overeasy456
Don't mention it, don't write your name by your self, just add the four tildes "~~~~" at the end of your messege, and after saving it will be converted to your signature automatically MaenK.A.Talk 13:36, 13 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
