Yeah, I really hope it goes ahead. I can't imagine in 20 years my kids will say "how did people live before the CLEM7?"
but I can imagine "how did you get into the city centre before CRR?"
keep up the good work. [[User:Noofnoof|Noofnoof]] ([[User talk:Noofnoof|talk]]) 05:16, 21 November 2010 (UTC)

Hi Shiftchange, I understand Flickr photos can be used, can we use this one? If so could you help? I'm not on top of how to do things right yet. Molendinarmania (talk) 04:44, 8 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Australian place name convention

Hi Shiftchange. There is currently a discussion being held at Wikipedia talk:Naming conventions (geographic names)/Archives/2010/August#Australian place name convention. Your opinion would be very welcome there. Cheers, Mattinbgn\talk 00:05, 20 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

OH dear

I am not a fan of any templates at the best of time (lies damned lies most of them - try some of the asia templates - a big bunch of red links - a loathsome sight for first things in the morning) - you offer that and do not even mention the southern ocean - where have you been all theses years? Edit wars par excellence from pedantic dead heads over what and where the southern ocean is and isnt - geographically challenged idiots one and all SatuSuro 01:53, 30 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You are now a Reviewer

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 18:30, 19 June 2010 (UTC) [reply]

brisbane metro area/council area dilemma

Dear shiftchange,

sorry if i have been angry or condescending towards you at any point.

i have always been very passionate about statistics and urban issues and such... caught in the moment...

i have left a message at the bottom of the talk page regarding your last point

i would be happy to help with any articles relating to the things discussed there.

also it occured to me now that in the geog section, there is a big satellite image of the entire brisbane metro area (basically, the grey built up looking stuff is whats counted by te ABS)

and i hope you read my point about how most of the areas of those councils with rural, detatched sections, like the scenic rim, are not counted by the ABS (only small parts)

same goes for pasts of ipswich, moreton, logan etc

anyway thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 211.31.63.196 (talk) 07:05, 20 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

For the forest cat improvement ( I always like sharper cat in summaries :) -- it seemed too long to leave as forests of australia - there is so much that can get tied in better with state sub cats - cheers SatuSuro 11:44, 21 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Shiftchange,
You were right, and I was wrong! Thanks for the quick revert.

Hey chief,

How come you removed the gallery? Ezykron (talk) 00:08, 10 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sweet thanks bro, im a noob at working this stuff, but the categories on the commons site look awesome! I can't believe that of a city of two million people only myself and one other guy have taken pics of wivenhoe dam! Is there really that few people using wikipedia or are people just lazy or don't know how to! Cheers! Ezykron (talk) 01:11, 10 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yea man agreed. I didn't know about that page, thanks i'll keep it in mind if im travelling somewhere. In general though i'm just taking photos of dams lol. Are you loving this picture? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Brisbane_From_Mt_Cootha.JPG Take it easy! Ezykron (talk) 06:49, 10 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
No worries dude i'll see what I can do if im going through that area. I've always wondered what those smaller ones look like! I just added a fair few photos to commons and a couple to here as well for Boondooma Dam. Also added pics for Pioneer River and Eungella_National_Park. Can you let me know if the categories are right for my pics? Thats my first attempt at it. This is the link: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/Ezykron Cheers —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ezykron (talkcontribs) 02:56, 11 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
