I'd like to rename this article to William Parker (freedom fighter) or William Parker (rights activist). Any thoughts? And how do I do that?--Msamuels63 (talk) 11:14, 29 September 2009 (UTC)
I'm having a hard time understanding the notability challenge. I've look up a number of other individuals who have two sentences about them, no sources and have no challenges to notability. This individual was recognized by a historical association (comprised of individuals who are descendants from the those involved in the event in question) and his notability is being challenged. I think this is an issue of who and how history is written. Please provide me specifics on how to improve notability consistent with other articles and I'll do so. I'm perplexed at the moment as to what more to do. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Msamuels63 (talk • contribs) 01:12, 3 October 2009 (UTC)
