Who You Are
There are no sources on this article claiming this is the name of her debut studio album; removing it. I am aware of the Amazon source; it does not mention it is a studio album, however. "Audio CD" could mean it is a CD single. Yves (talk) 09:37, 2 December 2010 (UTC)
Just J?
Her name needs to shortened either "Jessie" or "J." See Lady Gaga and how only "Gaga" is used. --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 19:02, 30 January 2011 (UTC)
- This seems like a difference case, though, since it's one letter. Since the "J" doesn't seem to stand for anything in "Jessica Ellen Cornish", we can assume this is a stage name (like B.B. King) and not initials (like T. V. Carpio). In this case, I believe we should use the full "Jessie J". Using just the "J" would be quite confusing. [If you want an example, think of a hypothetical sentence like, "After supporting UNICEF, J had...".] Lady Gaga is often known as simply "Gaga", while Jessie J is not known as either "Jessie" or "J". I believe this situation is comparable to that of Karen O or Vitamin C. Yves (talk) 03:19, 4 February 2011 (UTC)
- Well, Yves's above opinion explains all! Silvergoat (talk∙contrib) 15:34, 4 February 2011 (UTC)
If you want to shorten it i would probably just say "Jessie"? --SATURDAYmight. (talk) 20:51, 7 February 2011 (UTC)
jakobs rite, i mean, is it that hard to say 'jessie j'? r u so lazy to simply use ur voicebox 2 say 'jessie j'? that is her stage name so call her by her stage name! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 41.182.55.107 (talk) 19:46, 9 March 2011 (UTC)
- I just thought it seemed tedious to say "Jessie J released this. Then Jessie J did that. Then Jessie J made a this." But you have a point. --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 21:15, 7 February 2011 (UTC)
- Clearly it doesn't really matter, Jessie J is the name she is under. Leave it as such. Jakob 03:19, 4 February 2011 (UTC)

Dutch Singles Top 100: #95 Do It Like a Dude, #24 Price Tag
Dutch Top 40: #20 Price Tag
Songwriting
The article said she wrote songs for Rhianna , Christina Aguilera etc. I have removed these as I can find no evidence. Her Sony/ATV publishers page only mentions Miley Cyrus - Party in the USA and Chris Brown - I Need This. Darwin-rover (talk) 01:17, 15 March 2011 (UTC)
- Do It Like a Dude was meant to be for Rihanna though. And I believe she said in an interview that L.O.V.E. was meant for Christina Aguilera (later for Leone Lewis). So I agree those artists should be removed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.87.105.16 (talk) 16:17, 22 March 2011 (UTC)

Name
Perhaps the article should read
"Jessica Ellen Cornish (born 27 March 1988), better known by her stage name Jessie J" instead of "Jessie J (born Jessica Ellen Cornish on 27 March 1988)"
The second form implies that Jessie J is her legal name while the first form is standard for most other musicians. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bagv (talk • contribs) 08:54, 6 June 2011 (UTC)
Confused
< In late 2010, Jessie J released her first single, "Do It Like a Dude" which was wrote by George Astasio, Jason Pebworth, Jon Shave, Kyle Abrahams, Peter Ighile. Originally, she wrote the song with Rihanna in mind >
so: who did write it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.181.115.117 (talk) 12:33, 26 July 2011 (UTC)
Random Text
This random bit of text popped up under the "discography"-section. I deleted it... that should be fine, right?! "''''more'''' Jessie J is a popular celebrity know mainly for children about 12+ as some of Jessies lyrics contain sexual script or rude language. Apart from that Jessie J is a born singer which everyone cleary enjoys as she won a brit award and hopefully will win another few in the future." Wiki934 (talk) 18:08, 4 September 2011 (UTC)
