An associate of mine was kind enough to spend three hours this morning putting together a Wikipedia page for artmatch4U.com, and you quickly deleted this legitimate website, obviously without verifying the content of it. I would like to know why. Please respond ASAP. — Preceding unsigned comment added by CLS2012 (talk • contribs) 17:46, 30 August 2012 (UTC)

Err, thanks, I guess. I'm not usually one for that sort of thing, but A7s that rely on lazy racism tend to get my goat. WilyD 08:21, 23 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello - I'm Baffled!

I rarely edit Wikipedia. When I do, it's usually to straighten out a sentence to make it more coherent. Today, I logged in and read that I had a new message - from April of 2010. What the? It's now August of 2012. The message: "Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, you will be blocked from editing. Dlohcierekim 02:20, 7 April 2010 (UTC)"

I've no idea what this refers to, if this is glitch, the result of a shared IP address or a mis-identification of an edit. As I say, I only edit for clarity, never to gut and article, insert idiotic opinions, and I don't consider myself a vandal. If the message I received is ancient history that isn't worth looking into, that's fine by me. I'm not bothered because I'm pretty sure this is an inexplicable Wikipedia hiccup. Otherwise, keep on editing and keep Wikipedia sailing! — Preceding unsigned comment added by TheStockwell (talkcontribs) 05:06, 24 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you!

Hi Dlohcierekim,
Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ochuko Tonukari (2nd nomination) was an attempt (successful? unsuccessful?) on my part to reduce the amount of on-wiki teh dramahz. Thank you for closing it, and my apologies if it caused you any grief whatsoever. Tho I do edit contentious articles and those with contentious content, I am on personal and perpetual Dramaout.
Thanks again! --Shirt58 (talk) 11:34, 25 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Purple meteorite

is a brand name for a watch, and the age given in the article of 14 billion years is the age of the universe - the oldest thing found in the solar system is about 4.5 billion. Peridon (talk) 17:00, 28 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

LOL. I new that date looked familiar. Thanks. Purple rain sounds like a good name, right? Dlohcierekim 17:06, 28 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It was an age of purple dinosaurs; be among the first to own a memento of a time 14 xillion years ago! Acroterion (talk) 17:10, 28 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Barney!!! I want one! Dlohcierekim 17:11, 28 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Could I set this page up to be a redirect to Happy Wheels again, or would you not recommend that given that the page has been deleted a number of times now? I, Jethrobot drop me a line (note: not a bot!) 21:40, 28 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This was deleted 3 times so it is amenable to WP:SALT. Maybe I can restore the redirect and then protect it. Dlohcierekim 21:45, 28 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Nope. Result was just plain delete. Will need WP:DRV . Dlohcierekim 21:56, 28 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

For List of unreleased Lana Del Rey songs, can you please give me your opinion? Am I delusional or what? Because this article was deleted per WP:LISTN, but it follows WP:LISTN? So I'm 100000% confused why everyone's nominating and saying it doesn't follow policy. I honestly have absolutely no idea. You can see my comment at the bottom of the review. The reliable sources are very reliable so... I don't get it. --MrIndustry (talk) 05:01, 29 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It seems to be the issues are notability and sourcing. The consensus is that as a group, the items on the list are not notable. As they have not been released, they have not attained notability. No argument was successfully made that they were. Behind that is the sourcing problem. The consensus was that there is an insurmountable lack of WP:RS for the contents. The arguments for deletion were thorough and well supported. Arguments such as "valuable information" and "frequently updated" are never compelling, especially when sourcing is in doubt. The closing admin did appear to leave open the possibility of adding any items that have WP:RS to another page, though it might be best to obtain consensus on that pages talk first. Sorry I could not be more helpful. Dlohcierekim 13:24, 29 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
But that's what I don't get, because the sources are reliable. They're MTV, ASCAP, HFA, BMI, Entertainment Weekly, Ryan Seacrest, Glamour Magazine, Huffington Post, etc. I don't get how List of unreleased Britney Spears songs and List of unreleased Michael Jackson material can be featured lists with so unreliable sources?? My whole thing was Lana still performs these songs and Britney never will/never did.--MrIndustry (talk) 15:51, 29 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Apparently the other participants did not agree w/ your assessment of the sources. Dlohcierekim 16:43, 29 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I don't mean to sound rude/condescending to them, but would they like it written in the constitution? Because Hollywood Reporter, MTV, and Huffington Post are some of the top news sites in the world. If they're not reliable then I don't know what sources are. --MrIndustry (talk) 17:59, 29 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
