Britney Spears is an American recording artist. Her debut studio album ...Baby One More Time was released by Jive Records in 1999. The album spawned songs such as "...Baby One More Time", "Sometimes" and "Born To Make You Happy". Spears earned Grammy nominations for the Best New Artist and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance categories in 2000.

She won her first Grammy award in 2005 for her single "Toxic" in the Best Dance Recording category. Spears received the MTV Video Vanguard Award in 2011 for her iconic stage performances. As "Pop's Ultimate Femme Fatale",[1] Spears has sales of over 100 million records worldwide as of 2010[2] including 34 million certified albums and 2.9 million physical singles in the US, according to Soundscan.[3] She received a star on the Walk of Fame at age 21.[4] Overall she won 228 awards.
