:::::The right is designed for people of a specific project and those administering this specific project do decline requests for the right. Riley was completely appropriate in marking it as not done even though he isn't an admin on the wiki. Short of the user openly declaring the request is completely not related to the project the right is for (which this request does actually have) it does require either being involved in the project yourself or leaving it for one who is to be able to confirm the appropriateness of the request for the right. Those whose administer this specific project who are also admins on the wiki also grant the right. Those who do not have involvement with this specific project who are admins on the wiki may grant the right or decline requests for it but most tend to just let it be. You have succeeded in having 4 ACC admins respond including the big boss. Most interesting RFP-ACC i have seen in months. delirious & lost ☯ ~hugs~ 23:57, 16 February 2013 (UTC)

Account creator

(add requestview requests)
I have recently joined the OTRS team. The account creator right would be very uesful in handling account requests that come via OTRS. Thanks. ukexpat (talk) 01:33, 16 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
 • Hello, Ukexpat, I am one of the ACC tool admins. I have spoken with an OTRS admin and we both agreed that people having difficulties should be sent to ACC as ACC members are experienced in creating accounts and familiar with the policies involved. Thus, please defer users requesting assistance in account creation to WP:ACC. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me on my talk page. -- Cheers, Riley 04:14, 16 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Riley is an Admin at ACC, I agree that the final decision is for an ENWP Admin, on the same note, I think instead of you removing a comment of an Admin from the very project the ACC bit was created for, a discussion would of been much more proper than a non-admin (you) removing cmts. Not done per Riley. [stwalkerster|talk] 20:09, 16 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I've not removed any comment - I removed the template and stated that I'd done so. The right is designed for people of a specific project and those administering this specific project do decline requests for the right. Most interesting RFP-ACC i have seen in months. delirious & lost~hugs~ 23:57, 16 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
