The Administrator Coaching program is a program aimed at preparing Wikipedians for Adminship or helping them understand the intricacies of Wikipedia better. Recently, changes have been made to the requirements of coachees. Please review them before requesting this service.
This would be something like the Welcoming Committee, but for people who have figured out the basics of editing articles; they're not newcomers any more, but they might want some help in learning new roles. Some might like suggestions about how to learn vandal patrol, or mentoring on taking an article to featured status, or guidance with a proposal they plan to make at the Village Pump, for example. In this way, Esperanza would help keep hope alive for Wikipedia because we would always be grooming the next generation of admins.
The Stressbusters are a subset of Esperanza aiming to investigate the causes of stress. New eyes on the situation are always welcome!
Note from the editor
As always, MiszaBot handled this delivery. Thank you! Also, congratulations go to Pschemp, Titoxd and Freakofnurture for being elected in the last elections! An Esperanzial May to all of the readership!

Hey, You're going to have to tell why what you're doing with "revert" editing on this piece. I thought what I was putting on was useful and informative. Please explain..... Rossp 22:25, 8 May 2006 (UTC)rossp rossfp@gmail.com
I'm still confused, but thanks for restoring it. Best wishes. Rossp22:46, 8 May 2006 (UTC)rossp[reply]
Zone forums
can i ask why zone forums page was deleted?
3 times?
Hi, Naconkantari, I want to award you barn-star because you're very good wikipedian even better than other Administrators(Wikipedian). ^.^. You always catch the vandalism, and also protect other owner's room. That means You protect the article from vandals. So, Thanks. Please Send me message. Ahh, I know that you are involved in AmiDaniel's vandal proof.
The RickK Anti-Vandalism Barnstar
Hi, Naconkantari(Administrator of Wikipedia), I awarded you this pretty star for catching Vandalism. Keep doing good Work. Demonstrating nice in Wikipedia. Thanks. Daniel5127
I recently correct a mistake on the page Nigger and was almost banned for it by you. But what you dfail to realise is that the word "Chigger" comes from the words "nigger" and "chinky," not "chinese".
For the record, PlagueRat did not actually remove any warnings from his talk page. Not that I could see, anyway. As for the rest of his edits... I have no idea if he's even worth arguing with, or if he's just a troll, but I'm giving it a try. DS18:32, 13 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
why did you reverted edits I made ie. on the page about Nissan ? I added an external link to a non-commercial club of Nissan cars enthusiasts (*NissanClub.cz International Nissan cars club). This website and few other car club websites I develop several years as my hobby and it is not any kind of commercial project. Does I have to understand your act as a demonstration of your power ? You are an administrator, so you can do anythink ? Some stupid guy added link, you'll delete it ? Please explain me your reason.
Is that thing still triggering off those autoblocks? Do we have another alternative other than removing those blocks manually? --HappyCamper02:50, 16 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The only option that I can think of is having a developer change his password manually. Other than that, I just don't know. If he's unblocked, that means more vandalism, but while he's blocked, that means AOL denial of service. I'll see what I can do. Naconkantarie|t||c|m02:57, 16 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I removed a bunch of these blocks earlier today, but it seems rather silly if this is going to be ongoing...I was thinking of this...apparently, the user has not made any contributions to Wikipedia. Why not unblock the account for say, 10 seconds, and see what sorts of edits the account is attempting to do? After that, we can block it again. If we are lucky, perhaps it will only target one page, and if we protect the page, the bot might not be smart enough to switch to another to do the vandalism. Perhaps wishful thinking, but might be better than having to clear these blocks every minute or so. What do you think? --HappyCamper03:05, 16 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It's amazing how fast it can get autoblocked. I finally managed to expire the block and the bot hasn't made any contributions. It appears that all it does is attempt to load the edit page, gets blocked, and then goes for another random page, switching IP addresses at every different page. I'll keep watch on it for a while longer and see if anything changes. Naconkantarie|t||c|m03:19, 16 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
For all those little things! --HC You, my friend, deserve a barnstar. Thanks for keeping a sharp eye on these things. As for me, I actually thought the blocks might go to infinity... --HappyCamper03:27, 16 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
lol sorry, I'll let you unblock and reblock...

Per the numerous comments regarding potential proselytization on my user page, I have decided to remove entirely the section regarding the steps in my conversion to Islam. I welcome additional comments on what you believe may be construed as proselytization. Thanks in advance. joturner23:01, 17 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Recent "bot" block
Hi, this is 209.236.231.253. I recently updated {{welcomeip}} so that it would substitute {{PAGENAME}} each time it was subst'ed, by using <includeonly> tags. Obviously, this would mess up any existing template transclusions; hence my recent subst'ing. I'm not a bot, I was just going down Special:Whatlinkshere rapidly :) 207.150.184.4203:55, 18 May 2006 (UTC) (by the way, this IP is an open proxy, you may wish to block it)[reply]
I'll unblock the original IP if you can please keep your edit rate to 1-2 a minute. Please reply on the original IP's talk page, as your current IP has been blocked as an open proxy. Naconkantari03:57, 18 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
So, even when sourced, to call Amy Goodman of Pacifica an anti semite gets reverted by this author - so what do we call him - a vandal, a leftist unwilling to allow another viewpoint to be presented, a protector of anti semites, an anti semite himself - you read the quotes, you decide.Incorrect22:01, 18 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the catch. One wishes one knew the originating IP of a vandal who makes one edit (vandalism), then disappears for one-point-five months only to hit someone's user page (3x). Thanks again! :) RadioKirktalk to me03:09, 19 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Argh...
One of the drawbacks of the one-click-AIV-reporting feature in VandalProof is how easy it is to nominate the wrong person. I'll leave AmiDaniel a note in the bugs section about it. Just so you know, you beat me to the revert of the accidental Tawkerbot reporting. I do apologize. --Zpb5203:37, 19 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Yesterday I see someone repeatedly edited the "Misère game" article to include a giant sci-fi story, and I can't help but think that it's partly my fault. See, back in March, I stumbled across that story in the page's history when I was reverting vandalism from a different user, then recently I decided that it might be appreciated by the rest of the general internet, so I posted the story of how I found it and a link to the history page on this topic on Newgrounds. I guess I should have expected that someone would do something stupid like this, but in my defence, I thought that the whole idea of the story thing was really really funny. Anyway, sorry about that, and thanks for fixing up the vandalism. --Elfer14:17, 19 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Missing Reporter
I'd happily dispute the content if only I could get it back. Seeing as how I am unable to do so, is there any chance you could restore the article to how it originally was? --AmazingRacist17:06, 19 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the deadfast revert! However, that IP address is mine. I was getting rid of an old test that I had done to see how to get columns fixed. GofG||| Contribs00:45, 20 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
sorry ... didn't know it made a difference how much time elapsed between the save times. I'm going to do them now any way, I just figured I'd have them each open in tabs and do them together. -Skope04:25, 20 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hi-- You threatened to block me several times for making inappropriate edits... I'm not aware of making any offensive posts, but if I did I'd like to know what they were so I can fix the problem. Could you tell me what edits you considered inappropriate?
Hi, just wanted to say thanks for reverting the vandalism to my user page (several times, I see!) and for protecting the page. I think that's about the 30th case in two weeks! Always from the same guy on multiple IPs, two (if not three) of which have been blocked. Really appreciate it! Libatius 08:28, 20 May 2006 (UTC)

The American Pregnancy Association is a national nonprofit health organization promoting reproductiv e and pregnancy wellness through research, education, advocacy and community awareness. I had someone inform me that the Association should be listed on appropriate topics within the Wikipedia encyclopedia. I understand the need to keep commercial sites from spamming the site. The Association provides patients with a toll-free education support line, - everything to patients is provided free - couseling, education, support, referrals to local resources. I believe I have linked appropriately with the objective of helping people - not sales. Please reinstate, Pregdoc 14:40, 20 May 2006

I have incremented the block on User:71.198.124.130. He has been blocked before many times and has been blocked this week so I thought that a 1 week ban was appropiate. Also he has been blocked for 1 week before. If you think a 1 week block is unfair or too long feel free to revert my block. Joelito (talk) 23:50, 20 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
After a lenghty, but much-needed Wikibreak, I'm happy to announce that version 1.2 of VandalProof is now available for download! Beyond fixing some of the most obnoxious bugs, like the persistent crash on start-up that many have experienced, version 1.2 also offers a wide variety of new features, including a stub-sorter, a global user whitelist and blacklist, navigational controls, and greater customization. You can find a full list of the new features here. While I believe this release to be a significant improvement over the last, it's nonetheless nowhere near the end of the line for VandalProof. Thanks to Rob Church, I now have an account on test.wikipedia.org with SysOp rights and have already been hard at work incorporating administrative tools into VandalProof, which I plan to make available in the near future. An example of one such SysOp tool that I'm working on incorporating is my simple history merge tool, which simplifies the process of performing history merges from one article into another. Anyway, if you haven't already, I'd encourage you to download and install version 1.2 and take it out for a test-drive. As always, your suggestions for improvement are always appreciated, and I hope that you will find this new version useful. Happy editing! --AmiDaniel (talk) 02:57, 21 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Just wanted to let you know you made a mistake in deleting the article on Bill Ham, who (as the article said) was the producer for ZZ Top, as containing no assertion of notability. Please be more careful in the future. -- SCZenz04:15, 21 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
