Triva
I keep putting it up and some keeps taking it down Raven has Never tapped out before in his career so i wish the people would just leave it alone.
Correction: September 28th Impact Joe made him tap. haha ima nerd...
He tapped out before that when he wrestled CM Punk in their first match together in ROH.138.163.0.43 11:09, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
Raven Vs Chris Jericho - Haloween Havoc 1998 WCW - Raven tapped out to the Lion Tamer
Discussion
- Add any additional comments
- It really depends on whether Raven himself used his real name in any outside endeavors - such as his comic book writing. In any case, Raven appears to be the most recognizable. kelvSYC 05:53, 1 July 2006 (UTC)
He does own the name Raven for wrestling purposes
This page says Raven has recently signed with WWE... This is NOT true. [1] --Dubhagan 14:56, 4 July 2006 (UTC)

Ravenator and Fade to Black
Isthereany confirmation on the "Ravenator" and "Fade to Black" names, much less their usage as finishers? I've never heard of the names myself, nor have I heard of Raven winning matches with them.Sevenzeroone 23:17, 18 September 2006 (UTC)
Picture
The Picture realy doesn't look right and what happened to the picture of him in the Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back T-Shirt??--Yowiki 03:05, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
Jewish
I beleive Raven is jewish. Since he is one of only a very few jewish pro wrestlers (goldberg is the only other one I know offhand) I beleive this deserves mention in the trivia section.69.9.30.57 05:59, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
Yes, Scott Levy (aka Raven) is Jewish. So is Kevin Nash, Brian Pillman, Colt Cabana, Dean Malenko, DDP, Kane, Marc Mero, Paul Heyman, Randy Savage, A-Train, Brian Knobbs, Billy Kidman, Steve Blackman and Michael Hayes.138.163.0.42 14:10, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
I remember reading that they referenced him as a Jewish athlete on an episode of Jeopardy last month in a question. TonyFreakinAlmeida 03:04, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
Isn't he an atheist? JRandazzo 20:39, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
Picture change
I would suggest a picture change. The one featured is VERY out of date. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Andy1292 (talk • contribs) 03:24, 28 January 2007 (UTC).
- I updated it to a slightly more recent photo than his WWF days, and also a better shot of his face, not just a pose from a distance. Yagobo79 17:21, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
I'd also like to add Raven is 6'1 and weighs more like 240-250 he hasnt weighed 220 since he was in WCW the first time around when he feuded with Brian Pillman for the Light Heavyweight title
The truth about fade to black
Back in my vandal days I first called raves sleeper the fade to black becuase it sounded cool. He has never called it that so it is best removed. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Andy1292 (talk • contribs) 16:43, 28 January 2007 (UTC).
Disambiguation
Do we still need the note at the top of the page about Scott Levy (actor)? It should be self-evident from the title of this article that it's about the wrestler... --Dave. 12:38, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
- Someone moved the article for no reason. The link at top is reason enough for the article to not be moved. TJ Spyke 05:10, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
- I moved the page, and for good reason. The are two persons both named Scott Levy. Neither has priority to the name. Why should somebody searching for the actor have to go through the page on the wrestler. The best solution is to move this page to Scott Levy (wrestler). TJ Spyke has reverted my edit however. Sander123 13:05, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
Sections
I think this article has too many sections. If he went back and forth between ECW, WCW, and WWE and had more than one stay in each then there's gotta be a better way to organize. Perhaps make one section for ECW, one for WCW, and one for WWE, or organize it by years like is done on, say Edge's profile.----La Parka Your Car 20:52, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
ROH
Shouldn't this have more on his ROH career? It has nothing except what theme he used there. It could at least get a paragraph, amongst the other indie work he has done since WWE. If someone could write that, that would be great. User:60.241.214.74 01:51 15 June 2007 (UTC)
Personal Life
Wow he must keep a very low profile because nothing on here mentions his personal life. Not even family or other things. Is there anything out there?
- He got married in January 2007 to a model. This is all verifiable via his website. Yagobo79 17:21, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
How about mentioning that he is very good friends with Insane Clown Posse, The Sandman and Tommy Dreamer. Also that he has opened a wrestling school.
He has a wife named "Selina Kyle..." really? Really? --74.72.163.16 (talk) 19:47, 11 March 2011 (UTC)
Other Media
"Raven is a drinker" doesn't seem very relevent to the heading in the section, it would be better in "Personal Life", or to be removed from the article altogether. -K. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.78.130.185 (talk) 00:14, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
someones been spamming this page, FIX IT! raven is only a one time us champion and has never held the IC title. he's only a 27 time hXc champion...GAHHH!!!! SOMEONE FIX IT PLEEEEEEEEEEASE! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.86.247.87 (talk) 19:23, 14 October 2007 (UTC)
Heavyweight titles
It states in the first paragraph that he is a 4 time world heavyweight champion, winning the ECW and TNA Titles. Yet in the titles won section it says he has won 2 ECW Titles and 1 NWA Title (when it was part of TNA). This for the idiots who can't count equals 3 not 4, so which is it? Has he won 4 or 3? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 140.159.40.246 (talk) 23:50, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
Best known for...
The opening paragraph states that he is best known for his time in TNA. Obviously that's incorrect, he's best known for his time in ECW.
JWC126 (talk) 16:43, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
thats an argument you cant win. I best know Raven from his time in WCW because its all i watched. I never once saw an ECW taping. So isnt it best to just leave a sentence stating "hes best known for is time in ____" out? I mean everyone knows him differently depending on what channel they watch. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Adrianchandler (talk • contribs) 15:56, 17 November 2009 (UTC)

Orphaned references in Scott Levy
I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Scott Levy's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

The 1 IP's edit was right and Static was outside WP rules with the reversion and the warning because the information was not sourced in the article and the titles removed are not notable. This needs to be discussed and third party sources are needed per WP:BLP for the article information. Third party sources are needed for the titles to establish notability (not sure if BLP applies to that section or not - I think it should but that's an opinion only on my part. 121.219.230.189 (talk) 07:50, 29 November 2013 (UTC)
- Your removal was completely different then the other IP's edit. Yours actully made sense, because the content was not sourced and it was not notable on top of that. The title reign was sourced, so the content in the body just need a citation because it was not controversial per the terms of WP:BLP and WP:V. That IP was going around blanking various portions and vandalizing articles. Also it does not, most of the times primary sources are used in that section. The company is the best source for their own title reigns. STATic message me! 08:04, 29 November 2013 (UTC)
- But they are not the right source for notability. Only notable title reigns should be included. You're right. I only reverted one part when in fact I thought I'd removed both. I shall rectify that now, and you need to show that the titles are notable with third party sources. It is controversial for this reason and that's why I applied WP:BLP to that also. 121.219.230.189 (talk) 00:48, 30 November 2013 (UTC)
- Not true at all, 95% of the times first party sources are used for title reigns, as they should be and always are. The section is not exponentially long and there is no notability requirement for inclusion in the section anyways. STATic message me! 03:36, 30 November 2013 (UTC)
- So you can put in any old title you like? How about I create a website and announce that Raven won a title there, and you have a source. See the problem? 121.219.230.189 (talk) 03:57, 30 November 2013 (UTC)
- Seriously, a google search is your friend: Sources him winning the title, All Action Wrestling Australia is definitely notable, heck its a branch of the National Wrestling Alliance, and Cagematch.net is already a reliable source. STATic message me! 04:25, 30 November 2013 (UTC)
- Okay you rescued the AWF title by providing a third party source. Now was AAW in the NWA when Raven held their title? If not then that doesn't work because notability is not inherited. 121.219.230.189 (talk) 10:39, 30 November 2013 (UTC)
