Under "Name pronunciation and physical appearance", the neckbeard sentence/paragraph claim that "he insisted many women found attractive" is richly deserving of a {{page needed}} because it is a decidedly uncharacteristic claim.

Pronunciation

The pronunciation guide (thorough) applies only to certain English dialects. Surely a phonetic guide would be more appropriate? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.141.228.66 (talk) 17:16, 28 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It makes little sense to me, neither the bit about "thorough" sounding like "furrow" (although they rhyme in certain English dialects at least), nor the pronounciation of "Tho-row with the h pronounced" (which means...?). 109.176.207.49 (talk) 19:36, 13 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Template boxes

I'm confused as to why there is a template box for Gandhi at the bottom of the page but none for Thoreau himself; specifically of the type that lists his works, influences, etc. Gulivar (talk) 13:15, 3 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

There is a box for Thoreau to the right in the "Works" section. -Moorlock (talk) 17:38, 3 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
