* Hi folks. I am the author of the Bernice Gordon page, and her granddaughter. I will be seeing her later this week for her 100th birthday party. I don't believe the actual date itself (the 11th) has been published, just references to the month and year(deducible from her age in different articles). I may be able to get access to her birth certificate. Is that a verifiable source? As an aside, I will get more offline publication names/dates when I see her and swap out the LATimes blogs. Thanks. Bernice Gordon

  • Comment: please post on the morning (Eastern time zone) of January 11, 2014, as that is Ms. Gordon's 100th birthday. Article was built in sandbox over a few months, but only moved to mainspace today.

  • The lead could be longer and some of the citation positioning is a little funky. Also are you sure that the Blogspot sources are reliable? Other than that the article looks fine, and the QPQ check was successful. 和DITOREtails 22:30, 5 January 2014 (UTC)
I've fixed the lede. I'm not sure what you mean about the citation positioning. Yes, those particular blogspots are reliable. DS (talk) 01:10, 6 January 2014 (UTC)
    • Whatever. Article looks OK now. 和DITOREtails 04:27, 6 January 2014 (UTC)
      • Why are those particular blogs reliable? — Crisco 1492

I'd also point out that those are primarily being used to support discussion of her work. As for the date of birth, I'll see what Vlanard can say. DS (talk) 00:34, 7 January 2014 (UTC)
