Hi Lineslarge this is CatCars.

Who are you?

Re: Childbirth

Hello, it's not the usefulness of the reference or external link that's really the issue, it's their reliability. That reference is not a good source for a medical article since we strongly prefer journal articles, and I suspect that the person who added it had a conflict of interest. However, the "Signs" section seemed a little empty to me and as it turns out, it used to contain a lot more text, so I've restored the information that used to be there, since it's mostly well-sourced. Regarding the video, there is no authorship information on it and it could be a copyright violation, which should not be linked. A person using many IP addresses has been adding the link to various articles like this, this and this. I figure that if somebody is so desperate to get their links onto Wikipedia that they have to resort to tactics like that, something must be very wrong; also no long-term editors have ever added links to that site. Feel free to add a link to another childbirth video that isn't a copyright violation; anything from a large reputable organisation like the National Institutes of Health, the National Health Service or the Mayo Clinic would be fine. Locust

I've deleted the information because it is superfluous, as I explained on the Talk page of the article. Your accusation of vandalism is quite irritating. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.78.191.236 (talk) 20:37, 8 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

64, I think you may have misread your talk page. Lineslarge last commented on your page on June 30 to warn you about vandalism on a different article. I am the only one who has contacted you regarding your deletion of the table on locust. Your edit was not vandalism and is not being perceived that way. --Jprg1966 (talk) 20:40, 8 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited British Computer Society, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page CITP (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
