It seems to me that an angry fan who thinks promotion is "performing" only wrote this shady article. It is biased to say she didn't promote at all or to leave all the above promotion without any mention. As far as I know, "Chatty Man" and "Ellen" alone is better promotion than Femme Fatale.

Edit request on 1 November 2013

Under the section for cover and artwork, she released the cover in October, not August Asoyars (talk) 09:27, 1 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Done. Thanks. --Stfg (talk) 09:51, 1 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

While I think this page is mostly accurate there are some incorrect info specifically when it comes to the songwriters. For example: the track called 'Passenger' is said to have the songwriters mentioned from someone's tweet but I did some research on twitter and that tweet got deleted so the mentioned list of supposed songwriters for the track is not valid. Little flaws like this are the reason why I am submitting an edit request. Thanks for hearing. Westernassisin (talk) 12:27, 16 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: please make your request in a "change X to Y" format. For every instance of something you want replaced, list it explicitly. — TheJJJunk (say hello) 14:22, 16 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Uncredited Writing Contribution?

This was printed July 2012, and features lyrics very similar to the ones in the song "Till It's Gone". Should anything from this be counted in the page, possibly as a footnote to the tracklisting? I'm assuming not, since "tumblr" isn't exactly a source. http://imperialdestruction.tumblr.com/post/27184491155/its-gone 75.26.253.200 (talk) 01:15, 27 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

"never know what you have till it’s gone" is a common phrase, and the only thing that is similar between the two compositions. — Status (talk · contribs) 03:52, 29 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
"I try all the time to turn to a new page / But everybody locks me in a cage / With you, my heart had been misplaced / And now I can never escape your face" vs. "I try every night to turn the page / But daylight can confine me to a cage / In my mind the life we had replaced / Now every where I turn I see your face" is the similarity. 75.26.253.200 (talk) 05:52, 30 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
The lyrics are actually: "I try every night to turn the page / But daylight can't confine me to a cage / In my mind the life we had replays / Now every where I turn I see your face." Nevertheless, a similarity =/= an Uncredited Writing Contribution. — Status (talk · contribs) 13:28, 3 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ingrosso?

Didn't produce work bitch...

Look at the liner notes of the "Work Bitch" CD here. He did. --Markhoris (talk) 10:10, 2 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Seb mentioned he didn't work on "Work Bitch" on Twitter but I'm assuming he produced an instrumentation that will.i.am heard and decided to re-work and use in the final mix so he ultimately got credited for that but he didn't directly work on the song. Gcampbell92 (talk) 18:50, 3 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Promotion

Excuse me but it's not right to say she didn't promote. On top of Good Morning America and the E! documentary, she did countless radio interviews, she gave ET, E! and Extra interviews on TV. She went to the UK were she did 5 minutes TV interviews for Germany, France and the UK. She gave interviews to DayBreak, Stylin' In, Would You Rather? ('4music' channel) and This Morning in the UK. She went to Chatty Man too in the UK and gave promotion to Work Bitch. She gave a "release preview" party to all iHeart radio partners (radio stations) across the USA and it was even filmed. She went to the Ellen show today, her UK publicist confirmed another TV interview next week and she hosted Sirius XM Thanksgiving countdown. On top of that she is hosting AT40 with Ryan Seacrest this weekend, she will appear on a UK show called "Surprise Surprise" and she is expected to appear today at a Planet Hollywood welcome party.

It seems to me that an angry fan who thinks promotion is "performing" only wrote this shady article. It is biased to say she didn't promote at all or to leave all the above promotion without any mention. As far as I know, "Chatty Man" and "Ellen" alone is better promotion than Femme Fatale.

Don't Cry Production Credit Change

Under the following section:

All three should be changed from [c] to [b]

Source: I am William "DJ Keebz" Kebler" and this production credit was changed before album release.

Thanks

DjKeebz (talk) 22:06, 3 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: Thanks for wanting to correct this, but we need a verifiable, reliable source for the information. You could confirm your identity somehow, but the facts still wouldn't be verifiable. Better to correct the information in an interview or on an official website then provide that source. Thanks, Celestra (talk) 05:12, 4 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The ironic thing is that this the source people are using when posting the credits. I have the new credits and could post a picture or you can contact me via my website for identity proof www.keebz.com not really sure what else to do but this is actually effecting my other projects i am bidding. What can I do? thanks, DjKeebz (talk) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 23.242.174.45 (talk) 22:16, 4 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

@DjKeebz: The source for these credits that people are using is the official Britney Jean booklet. I suppose that you as DJ know that that is a legal document used in every major release and is the most reliable source. I don't say there are not errors with booklets sometimes, but when there are issues, the performers usually place the right credits on their websites or similarly. We don't have that case here (yet!). Cheers! — Tomíca(T2ME) 22:37, 4 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
How bout we hold off on the edit request and see where the discussion leads. Mlpearc (open channel) 02:43, 5 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Artwork

Is this the actual album artwork? Her picture looks in colour as opposed to black and white, as I have seen it everywhere else on the internet. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 151.64.61.167 (talk) 09:13, 4 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The Deluxe version is the one with the black and white cover, the standard version is the one shown in the infobox. --Markhoris (talk) 09:53, 4 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Concept Album?

This album is listed as a concept album... Yeah, okay, there is a source that claims that this is, but this shouldn't be taken as golden. This is more of an opinion. A concept album wouldn't have "Work B****" as a song that follows the track "Alien". It's clear this is just a standard pop album. Comparing to previous Britney albums, "In The Zone" is the only album she has done to date that could be considered a concept album. Other comparisons are Janelle Monae's "The ArchAndroid" album and Madonna's "American Life" album.

Commercial Failure?

I can't undestand why it's listed as a commercial failure, while it's sold 100,000 copies on its first week just in the US. Other albums are listed as a 'moderate success' or even 'hits' when charting at top 10 in a minor country... I think it should be listed as a moderate success. It's a bit offensive, i think. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.39.57.9 (talk) 22:06, 30 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

By comparison to Britney's strong track record before (six #1's, one #2 in the United States), I don't think it's unfair to say that it underperformed, but I think that labeling it as a failure is mildly subjective. WikiRedactor (talk) 17:58, 31 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protected edit request on 12 January 2014

In the Genre section of the description of the album, edit the lower case first letter 'p' in "pop" to have the first 'P' in upper case, as it should read "Pop" not "pop" as its the first item in the list of genres. 24.171.242.147 (talk) 04:58, 12 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Done I've also de-capitalized some later genres as Template:Infobox_album#Genre "Note that most genres aren't proper nouns, and shouldn't be capitalized, but the first word in the list should be." although I've previously had arguments as to whether Techno is a proper noun or not. Arjayay (talk) 13:13, 12 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Two new album certifications...

The album was certified Gold in Brazil and in Venezuela. The source is Sony's facebook page of the respective countries. But here is my question, is that source reliable enough to include it on this page? I've seen that in the Avril Lavigne album certifications they include sources like twitter and facebook accounts. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mtvdeo (talkcontribs) 16:36, 3 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

3rd Single

I deleted the section about the 3rd single being Tik Tik Boom! There hasn't been any official announcement regarding what the 3rd single will be and if there will be a 3rd single! Unless someone provides proof, it should not be re-posted on here! 24.138.180.140 (talk) 09:30, 20 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
