Dorothy Howard, Wikipedian-in-Residence of the Metropolitan New York Library Council, has facilitated multi-institutional Wikipedia projects among New York galleries, libraries, archives, and cultural institutions since August, 2013. In her talk she will discuss Edit-a-Thon and project documentation, things to do before and after Wikipedia events, Wikimetrics, and using outside tools to trace institutional Wikipedia projects. The latter part of the presentation will also consider different models for measuring success in Wikipedia projects including: editor retention, diversity, language compatibility, page-views, readability, and article quality.
