Hi, saw your mod to [[Gonzalo Lira]].

Since when is imdb.com not considered a reliable source?

Thanks.

That's thank you, from A to Z (by word or language). Sometimes I'm not good about thanking folks who thank me for my aimless fiddling around on Wikipedia. So in case I do forget, this should cover it. If you'd like more words of appreciaton, find them here.

Hey, they even have translations of the classic My hovercraft is full of eels!

Here (and on my user page) are a few of the photos I've taken in my NRHP roadtrips. More to be found here.

Also, if you have an issue with me on Wikipedia, please comment here on Wikipedia. Not on Wikicommons, not on WikiVoyage, not on the Tardis Wikia. Here. Or not at all.

50,000 NRHP sites illustrated

WikiProject National Register of Historic Places Award
For helping WP:NRHP to illustrate 50,000 historic sites. We couldn't have a "project achievement" barnstar without including you. Keep up the good work!Smallbones(smalltalk)

P.S. - I think I hit a wrong link earlier - you should have been at the top of the list.

Thanks! :)

Lewis House in Tallahassee is really Spring House

Hello Ebyabe. I've been asked by the Spring House Institute of which I am board member to make some corrections and additions to the Lewis House page.

For one, Byrd Lewis says this house was never called Lewis House as her father George Lewis said there were already 2 houses called Lewis in town and he wanted something different. We'd also like better photos. Much of the content at the SHI website could be used.

Being a brand new Wiki editor, I am lost as to what to do myself and would appreciate some help. Looks like you created the page and do a lot of updating. Changing the title name that is also used in links seems like a big deal to me and I sure don't want to screw it up. Heck this thing about ending a talk with 4 tildes is a mystery.

No idea how you reply but I'll "watch this page" and hope. Thanks - Scott

You did the right thing; I'll reply here. :) I created the article for Lewis House (Tallahassee, Florida) back in 2006. Part of my mission at the time to have at least a short article on all the Florida NRHPs. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places as the 'Lewis House', which is why I created it under that name. But if it is more commonly known as the Spring House, just supply some reliable sources to that effect and we should be able to move it to that name. The name in the NRHP infobox will stay the Lewis House, though, as that's the standard since it's information about it as an NRHP listing.
I'd be delighted to see the article expanded. I created the NRHP stubs years ago in hopes that would happen. Just use reliable sources to validate the data added. That does include not just internet accessible stuff, but books too. You know, those things made out of lots of sheets of paper? :) But don't just copy stuff word-for-word. Content here (words and pictures) must be freely available. No copyright infringing.
If you have other questions, drop me a line and I'll answer as soon as I can. If you want a quicker response, or second opinion, you can also ask at the WP:HELPDESK or the Talk page of the NRHP WikiProject. Cheers! --Ebyabe talk - Repel All Boarders00:15, 11 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Articled NRHP sites

Hi Ebyabe!. I'm trying to complete the pages of NRHP sites in Florida using the statistics in the project progress and the information provided by the script Dudemanfellabra/NRHPstats.js. My problem are the the counties' lists (like Miami-Dade, Palm Beach, Escambia, Pasco, and Union) apparently fully populated, but declared as incomplete: do you know how to identify the missing articles? Ciao, Pietro (talk) 06:40, 13 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

That's odd. It may be an error in the script. I've done enough coding to know that happens sometimes. You should drop a line to DMFB about it. --Ebyabe talk - Health and Welfare14:04, 13 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't even think about the 'List of' articles. I created them so long ago I forgot. Now I remember that I was making so many stubs, I was looking for any shortcuts I could. Figuring they could always be made into articles later. And there you go.  :) --Ebyabe talk - Attract and Repel16:32, 14 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
A single page for a MPS or TR instead of multiple indipendent stubs is not a bad idea: I don't think that you can collect enough information to write good articles for all of them. Moreover, most of the lists (like Opa-locka TR, Homestead MPS, Miami Shores TR) work fine. I really don't understand what is wrong with Woman's Clubhouses :) --Pietro (talk) 19:06, 14 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Listen (Doctor Who)

Now my Doctor Who edits have been proved correct will any future ones be removed? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.100.38.191 (talkcontribs)

From right above the edit box: "Encyclopedic content must be verifiable." So unless you cite a reliable source with your edit, yes. DonQuixote (talk) 19:28, 13 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I have put in a request for short-term page protection. Just for a few hours. And as Don said, anonymous IP, you have 'proved' nothing. --Ebyabe talk - Union of Opposites19:35, 13 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
