Hi! I've created some bio articles of disabled sportspeople from Turkey, who participated at the Paralympics. I wonder if any guidelines exist for the notability of disabled sportspeople, who did not yet participated in the Paralympics but won medals at e.g. IPC European championships or tournaments held abroad. I'd appreciate a hint or brief explanation. My same request to a member of this WP remained without reply. So I hope I can receive at least any reply. --[[User talk:CeeGee|CeeGee]] 09:00, 7 September 2014 (UTC)

I have just come across 1st Newquay Scout Group which you started. I am afraid that it is doubtfull that this article will survive. Indeed I am surprised it has survived so long. There is a discussion going on right now in "Articles for deletion" about a US Scout Troop. The consensus is that individual troops are not notable. This has come up in the UK before. The answer is to write the County article - in this case Scouting in Cornwall (see the template at the bottom of the Scout Association) - add some real content about the county and then add information about your group. Then make the Group article a redirect to the County article. Let me know if I can help. --Bduke 23:30, 28 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

FLAGS

Scout Fellowship is a specific section within the Scout Association, not a general article on fellowships. FLAGS is not listed as a National Fellowship.[1] ---— Gadget850 (Ed) talk 23:50, 26 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes it is. DuncanHill (talk) 13:51, 21 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

St Piran's Cross badge

Hi, don't know if you've seen the thread about st George's Corss badges on Escouts, there's been some comment about the St Piran's Cross worn by Cornish Scouts, thought you might be interested. It's at [2]. BTW, doesn't Lady Mary do a lot? My mum used to meet her from time to time on Environment Agency business. DuncanHill (talk) 14:01, 21 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you must sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 23:31, 16 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for July 26

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2013 in sports, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Athletics (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Jade Etherington

Hi, thanks for your contributions. Just to note, it is best to write numbers such as 3rd as three, or if you have to, 3. Also, it is best to source facts on BLPs. Thanks, Matty.007 18:13, 14 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
