This section goes too much into detail about the Sheriff's removal vote and not the actual campaign. Interesting how the page mentions the campaign not wanting to make it a big deal yet it takes up more space in the Assembly race section than other items. Also, the description of the circumstances seem biased, e.g. "politically charged legal battle" it was hardly politically charged, the Sheriff beat up his wife and was charged with domestic violence charges. There is also a section that was added earlier that fail to mention that Campos will continue to serve until 2016 on the Board of Supervisors after failing the race. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.14.92.114 (talk) 00:08, 10 November 2014 (UTC)

The campaign was heavily biased by Chiu against Campos utilizing tech billionaires to do a guilt by association for following the letter of the law and not supporting Mayor Lee's 3-ring circus which was exactly politically-charged. The entire incident, in which Mirkarimi did NOT beat up anyone was blown way out of portion to what he was accused or even did a plea bargain for. Shame on Chiu for taking Mirkarimi's family into the mud while that family was trying to heal from the damage done. Mirkarimi wasn't even found guilty for what he originally was charged. He did a plea agreement for a different misdemeanor charge. Yet Chiu throws these accusations, just as you have, against evidence to the contrary. What's missing is Mayor Lee's perjury but I'm not sure that needs to be included here. Meow or never

Illegal immigrant category a possible BLP violation?

I just removed the illegal immigrant category as first of all he was a child following his family when he did so and second it might violate the biographies of living persons categorization provision as according to sources somehow Campos was able to apply for legal status and never had any action taken against him. I concur and would have removed the cat myself had I noticed it. Poorly-defined categories are very problematic. AV3000 (talk) 23:56, 12 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Assembly Race section, third paragraph, seems irrelevant

This section goes too much into detail about the Sheriff's removal vote and not the actual campaign. Interesting how the page mentions the campaign not wanting to make it a big deal yet it takes up more space in the Assembly race section than other items. Also, the description of the circumstances seem biased, e.g. "politically charged legal battle" it was hardly politically charged, the Sheriff beat up his wife and was charged with domestic violence charges. There is also a section that was added earlier that fail to mention that Campos will continue to serve until 2016 on the Board of Supervisors after failing the race. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.14.92.114 (talk) 00:08, 10 November 2014 (UTC) The campaign was heavily biased by Chiu against Campos utilizing tech billionaires to do a guilt by association for following the letter of the law and not supporting Mayor Lee's 3-ring circus which was exactly politically-charged.
