I submitted an article for review on Oct. 2. It is in line for consideration, however, the number of articles under review has been steady at between 480 and 580 since I posted it. Is there a reason for the delay in consideration? Anything that I can do to help?

Request on 01:08:02, 8 October 2015 for assistance on AfC submission by Calais1984

Calais1984 (talk) 01:08, 8 October 2015 (UTC) Calais 1984 username Request for assistance please. In the 'External sources and further reading' section I am trying to put them in the required Wiki format. When I do it they turn into footnotes/references. I was using CITE manual but that doesn't seem to the correct one. Which one is it guys as I'm stuck. How can I improve my draft Wikipedia page on The Total Wellbeing Diet? It has been re-reviewed and will not be published because of apparent lack of independent sources:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Total_Wellbeing_Diet

Sphealth999 (talk) 04:34, 8 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Sphealth999: To me it reads like an advertisement. Also, see WP:42, sources must be independent and reliable (see WP:RS). Also see WP:GNG. It's also not recommended to edit about something you have an affiliation with (See WP:COI). --  Kethrus |talk to me  13:13, 8 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

06:42:01, 8 October 2015 review of submission by 217.115.42.50

My article was denied and I would like to know what changes I can make to get it approved.

217.115.42.50 (talk) 06:42, 8 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@217.115.42.50: I'm unable to find a draft in your contributions, this may be because you've accidentally asked this question while logged out, I'm also unable to find Draft:Panduro Hobby (as it's in your sandbox). All I can recommend is you read the reviewers reason and look at the links they've put in the reason. --  Kethrus |talk to me  13:11, 8 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Request on 07:27:31, 8 October 2015 for assistance on AfC submission by Volontaerin

Hello there, I am trying since March to get my article about the NGO Legal Resources Foundation in Zimbabwe approved. I've already shortened it but it looks like every time I ask for approval someone else is reading it and giving me the same advice - my sources are not reliable (which I simply don't understand) and the article is too long. Please help me. I think the article is important but I am now very demotivated! Volontaerin (talk) 07:27, 8 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I have left you a much more detailed comment on the draft that prior reviewers seem to have done. Please return here if you have questions once you have read it. Fiddle Faddle 14:42, 8 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

09:07:52, 8 October 2015 review of submission by Orangemarker

What is the reason for the refusal of my article? What should I do to obtain approval? Orangemarker (talk) 09:07, 8 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Orangemarker: It was declined because it reads like an advertisement. --  Kethrus |talk to me  13:08, 8 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Good Morning - I saw the message about the article containing copywriter material. I would like to edit the article and update it so that it complies with Wikipedias guidelines. However, I am curious to what the material is that you view as copyrighted so that I may make these changes. This would be most helpful to me.

Any and all material taken form another website is a copyright violation. You talk page tells you which web site you have copied. IN general an editor tends to remember what they have copied and pasted here. Fiddle Faddle 20:38, 8 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I want to keep my articles or i'll just copy and paste a neutral from another website that'll give ya imformation! 19:30, 8 October 2015 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Googleforum666 (talkcontribs)

We have no idea what it is you are asking. However, do not copy material form other websites, please. That would almost certainly be copyright violation, and is a behaviour that will get you blocked. Fiddle Faddle 20:35, 8 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Numerous references for notability provided. Extra outbound links provided to bolster existing and new references. Original copy rewritten. Language toned down to a neutral and factual type, avoiding complex words or overly descriptive phrases (which had been misconstrued as sales-y). Inline citations added and formatted. I don't know why the page has been declined now, and am requesting a thorough re-review with an editor who is willing to go through the draft with me on a detailed basis. I currently am ill, so I have not been on Wiki much, and it might take me a day or 2 to notice changes... please bear with me. Thank you!

I have made a article on a school. It's my first article. I included all information I found. But it was rejected when reviewed. As I don't have any more information to add I like to format that article. How can I format that article?

Moudud99 (talk) 11:32, 9 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Moudud99, the most obvious problem is that you have not included any references, where did you find the information? See Referencing for beginners for guidance. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 14:23, 9 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

04:57:38, 10 October 2015 review of submission by Mystywave18

Hello there!!!! I am a new one of creating articles in Wikipedia. I'm working on this draft for a very long time spend my time to review the errors/reasons for declining my draft on it since I received more notes & suggestions that the reviewer was given to me & they put it on my draft a while ago. That is why my draft was declined many times. But it was resolved and I'm already fixed on it through the advice of the notes that the reviewer was given through the messages on my talk page. So, I'm writing this request to review again my draft entitled '"Kenneth Earl Medrano"' so that this draft will be transfer to the article page & it will be accessibly found on the search engine as soon as possible since this draft is highly much needed & in demand by the people especially the followers/fans of him. He is very well-known person in the world of Philippine entertainment. They want to know about facts about him. I hope that this time my draft will be accepted and approve by the reviewer/s as well. If do so, if ever there's any problem again to my draft, I am very welcome again to re edit and check some errors on it on which the reviewer will check on it. Give me some notices on it. Thanks

PS. Second, I have a personal concern question regarding of adding the picture on the draft especially in the info box on his name. I tried many times to upload pictures first in Wikimedia Commons but they said that the materials are invalid and violated its copyrights. And also here in Wikipedia I tried also to upload & license the picture in order to be used as a primary picture to my draft, but it was rejected. My question is, what I am going to do on this particular matter regarding of uploading pictures since this is my own work and it has a legal credibility that my work is mine? How do we resolve this particular matter? May I know please? I want answers on it & I hope that my questions will be answered & I am looking forward in your response. Thanks.

@Mystywave18: At least one of the pictures had the appearance of being a "selfie". Perhaps you might offer your thoughts on that, since it is unlikely to be your own work unless you are the gentleman concerned. Fiddle Faddle 11:49, 10 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Request on 19:58:12, 11 October 2015 for assistance on AfC submission by Twonalib

I am new to Wikipedia and unsure why my submission was declined. I had sources from the New York Times, CNN and other places about the Fisher Center for Alzheimer's Research Foundation. Many similar organizations are included in Wikipedia but not this one. Any help would be greatly apprciated.

Twonalib (talk) 19:58, 11 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Significant coverage means that a lot is written on the topic. This means for example several paragraphs directly on the topic. A picture caption, or a single mention in one sentence is not significant. You can still use references like that for one fact, but for the whole article we need at least 2 significantly sized, independent, reliable coverages. Press releases or things written by connected people and organiseations are not counted as independent. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 21:11, 11 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

KKConnect (talk) 03:33, 12 October 2015 (UTC) How do I resubmit an edited article?[reply]

Hi @KKConnect: To resubmit a draft, you can simply add {{subst:submit}} to the very top of the page. If you're referring to this draft, it looks like it has already been submitted and should be reviewed in due time. ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 18:24, 12 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

03:51:44, 13 October 2015 review of submission by Christina.h.chen

Dear Helper,

Thank you for helping me to create an article of "https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Masato_Sagawa". I have two questions: 1. the wiki page shows: "This article may require cleanup to meet Wikipedia's quality standards. The specific problem is: The sources ought to be formatted properly, though they are functional as is. They are also lacking a DOI or other identifier.. Please help improve this article if you can. (July 2015)"

I would very much like to cleanup it to meet the quality standard, and I would need to learn how.

2. I uploaded a photo of Sagawa, but it looks very small. Please help me to understand how to put the photo properly.

Thank you so very much,

Christina
