Notifying author of deletion nomination for Doctor What
Line 100: Line 100:

From what I can see, you appear to be adding articles about things that you and your friends came up with one day while doing some backyard wrestling. The vast majority of backyard wrestling events are non-notable and in order to show that it's an exception, you'll have to show where these events have gained coverage in independent and reliable sources. Naming them after notable organizations and events will not count towards notability. If you re-add these pages to Wikipedia without reliable sources you run the risk of getting blocked, possibly permanently, for being disruptive. You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on PWF WrestleMania requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organized event (tour, function, meeting, party, etc.), but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. S. Information icon Hello, I'm Shalir Salim. I noticed that you recently removed some content from WrestleMania XXIV without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I have restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. S. Salim (talk) 17:06, 1 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon This is your only warning; if you create an inappropriate page again, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Template:Z47 S. Salim (talk) 17:07, 1 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with this edit to TWF Extreme Rules (2012). Please make your case on the page's talk page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you.
