Poor

Considering she is the 3rd oldest VERIFIED person, this article is very barren. There's no infobox, let alone a photo. Jeanne Calment, Sarah Knauss and Marie-Louise Meilleur, among others, all have these infoboxes plus photos. Not that much is known about her. She was never the world's oldest person (Calment was older), and she was only verified long after her death. I don't think there is a photo available to add. SiameseTurtle (talk) 13:53, 19 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The statement that her slave parents were whipped every day needs verification. After several months of this contentious statement being unverified, it is probably best to go ahead and remove it.

In the absence of real information on this person, some Wikipedes manufactured a pseudo-historical biography that is not based on reliable sources. Finally removed, but I think the article needs attention from an expert, someone who can dig up some hard facts about her. She is the third oldest verified person ever, that deserves more than a pseudography with no picture. Silenceisgod (talk) 23:41, 29 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Little is knowm about her because she is a FAKE. She was 97 at the time of her death.

The statement "Lucy might have been only the second person in human history to make 115, 116 and 117" does not hold with 115 since the verification of Augusta Holtz
