Comment: They are not search terms, they are alternate ways to access the template. Same as how other templates exist with dash and undashed forms and camelcased with one redirecting to the other. This particular template is missing that. Anyone using many templates on Wikipedia should easily run into that aspect of Wikipedia's templates. Comment: I have never experienced that. Typing or pasting "template:discussion-moved" into the search box presents me with "Template:Discussion moved". Another thing is, that should the redirects be created, the target should be {{Moved discussion to}} to avoid the double redirect. I have re-opened the request for other editors to chime in. I mean, I don't see how Wikipedia would be harmed if we create these redirects. Searching for a template is different from invoking the template—a redirect is required if you're going to use an alternative name of a template. Although these redirects might seem useless to us, if the requester believes they would be useful for them, I would be inclined to accept their request. Mz7 (talk) 18:28, 20 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
