:Umm...I'm 16 years old. And actually, my friends do know that I spend some time correcting edits on Wikipedia. Most of them spend time on their myspaces anyway...at least I'm doing something productive instead of writing about myself in a narcisstic sort of way. And why are you targetting me? Do I know you? --[[User:Nishkid64|<span style="color:red">'''Nish'''</span><span style="color:blue">'''kid'''</span><span style="color:green">'''64'''</span>]] 20:52, 7 September 2006 (UTC)

Revision as of 20:52, 7 September 2006

If you came here wondering about my edit summaries, I apologize for any inconvenience I have caused you. Sometimes, when I'm stub sorting, I usually copy and paste my my edit summaries (Stub-sorting. You can help!). Sometimes I forget that I was copying and pasting something else, and sometimes, that accidentally carries over to my edit summary. Examples can be seen here: [1] and [2]. Just wanted to let people know.

Please SIGN your comments using ~~~~. That way it'll be easier for me to identify who is trying to get a hold of me.

Dodgers or Angels?

I'm confused? I don't think I edited the LA dodgers color template? Unless you mean the LA Angels; in that case I did. They don't really use blue in their uniforms anymore--it's either gray and red or white and red, hence the change. It's always up for discussion--I just figured that most of the players on the Angels didn't have the template to begin with in use so I decided to mix it up.

And yes, I'd like to join the Project! Cardinalwraith 07:18, 1 September 2006 (UTC)CardinalWraith[reply]

Yeah, I guess I meant Angels. Sorry about that. To join the project, just add your name to the list on the WikiProject page. --Nishkid64 14:33, 1 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I cleaned up the article, please consider changing your vote for deletion to a keep? PT (s-s-s-s) 17:31, 1 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Billy Lockwood page

He has performed on numerous t.v. shows including Soap Talk performing with his band Rowdy. According to thier website. Also has been published by Samuel French Inc. in Here, There & Everywhere for the play Waiting For Ringo. He also starred in the Television pilot Lonestar. He is very notable! I found this in google. I found him in over 1800 hits. The reason you found less is because he is also known as Will Lockwood, Billy Lockwood, Bill Lockwood, and William Lockwood. Please do not delete the Billy Lockwood page. He commercially endorsed Suzuki Motorcycles on a national commercial. The commercial entitled Lone Wolf Imovie 22:59, 1 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Am I to be helped?

The whole reson I did it is to show the double standard that is being played out. Clary is more notable than all those guys put together but that is really a side issue. If you go through the user talk you will see that I am actually BEGGING for help because this guy stalks me along with Tilman. But who on wiki cares? I try mediation, ask for help, spend about 3 hours posting on the JLC talk about it (only just last night let alone all the other times), but not one person is concerned.

It seems if I do anything on Wiki it must be approved by these guys first. It is like a Wiki mafia. They are anti Christian and anti cult (that is their occupation i.e. they are really cult busters - if you go through their post look at bios etc). Sorry if I am way out of line but I feel like I am at my wits end. This guy purposely slanders me and stalks me! I end up explaining myself to people like you all the time on this one issue because he makes rash statments like "he is fudging the figures in the deletion page" or "Nick never contacted me for mediation and is doing it all wrong" when in fact I had. When I defend myself I include that he is stalking me and post the evidence and usually get a reply like you have posted to me.

So I figured if Wiki people don't really care about it I stalk him back and go through each site as he does to me issuing for deletion, putting up tags about 1 minute after he posts claiming that it is unsourced etc. Obviously I know that this is wrong and unethical, but how else can I get anyones attention to get this guy off my back? I have tryed mediation etc, and on the JLC article I did it all according to admin advice but, noo, Feldspar puts a deletion noticle on it and accuses me of foul play. Sorry if I am a bit emotional but to save me typing this out (for about the 20th time) please read through the posts and actually read the arguments I put on the page.

I did read your talk page, and I know perfectly well what is going on. I even voted to keep the article because it passed WP:BIO and generated nearly 200,000 hits.
However, I'm still disappointed that you did not show the kind of civility and patience on the AfD page for Johnny Lee Clary or when you made AfD on Tilman Hausherr. For example, you immediately took out your anger on Feldspar and OhConfucious just because they did not support your views. You attacked people thinking they were neo-nazis or something. You also asked friends (i'm assuming you did) to join Wikipedia and vote to keep the article. If you read the guidelines, you'd know that AfD pages are discussions, not really votes. This is utterly disgraceful.
I know some of those people may have deleted the article because it may have racially offended their views (I'm not sure who or even if they did it for that reason), but nonetheless, the AfD will probably (as of right now) end up as a keep. I know that AfD's will constantly be brought up upon the article, and I ask you to please remain neutral, calm and peaceful with other Wikipedians.
As for the AfD's you made on Tilman Hausherr and other people, that is totally unacceptable. You did not prove valid reasons as to why you did not think they were notable. You just vented out your frustration of the JLC AfD on these other articles without considering the Wikipedia guidelines.
Trust me. There were much better ways in which you could have handled this situation.
You could have gone to Admin Intervention or Admin Noticeboard and requested help from administrators regarding people who were trying to sabotage your work.
I hope that after this AfD, you will try to defend your arguments in the future regarding JLC, in a calm, civilized manner. Being courteous and polite goes a long way in Wikipedia. An example can be seen here: Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Kpjas. At first, I was among many people who opposed Kpjas's RfA. If you go to my User talk:Nishkid64/Archive 2 (first message), you can see a fellow Wikipedia user (and administrator) kindly asked me to reconsider my opinion on Kpjas. I ended up changing my vote to Support, as did a dozen other people. This also applies to you. If you show decency and equality amongst your Wikipedia peers, you can definitely gain their support when you need it the most.
Hope you will think about what I said above.
P.S. I'd also appreciate it if you could keep religious views private for a while. It seems that they have been quite controversial here. However, remember to act in a civilized manner. Take a look at me...Christians took over India during the Victorian era and basically treated us like crap. Our people still feel the troubling effects of the British rule, but do you see me going all crazy on people like you? Nope.

I'd like to thank you Nishkid64 for either supporting, opposing, commenting, nominating, reading, editing, promoting and/or anything else that you may have done for my successful request for adminship (I've broken the one thousand sysop barrier!); I'm thanking you for getting involved, and for this I am very grateful. I hope to be able to serve Wikipedia more effectively with my new tools and that we can continue to build our free encyclopedia, for knowledge is power, but only wisdom is liberty. Please do feel free to get in touch if you feel you can improve me in any way; I will be glad to listen to all comments. Again, thanks 8)             —Xyrael / 12:01, 2 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I am new to wikipedia but I am aware of talkpages. I think unless a clean-up tag is explained on the talkpage in detail on what needs to be clean-uped than it should be removed. I looked through the history and a IP added them without an edit summary or anything. If the tags have no clear reason for being there then they should be removed. -84.169.231.181 18:11, 2 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I thought the bot was adding the tag. I didn't know an IP added the tag. My apologies! Warning will be removed. --Nishkid64 18:15, 2 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Its okay. I'm sorry for not leaving a message on the talkpage first. -84.169.231.181 18:17, 2 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

IP Warnings

Didn't seem much point in creating an archive page, there wasn't much there, the warnings can be seen in history. The last warning for vandalism was months ago. The last edit other than to the talk page was 1 September (which received no warning but should have done), prior to that 4 July and then only one edit... If the IP gets used for more vandalism issue more warnings, I just don't see the old warnings as relevant. --pgk 18:14, 3 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I realized that he hadn't vandalized in a while until after I posted on your user talk page. Well, I understand now. Thanks. --Nishkid64 18:16, 3 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding Nikki French

Hey - People keep changing the page and removing links etc, that i have added i was simply returning the page to how it was before people started vadalizing the article

Are you able to revert the page back to the edit which i done - This has always been the original article before people started changing and deleting information on the page Thanks 81.129.194.143 21:08, 3 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The edit on holocaust cruelty

I would please like to point out that the person who did that was not me, and a school friend who relentlessly mocks me. I informed her of the article and she said she was gonna put it on

Ahadland 22:40, 3 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Huh? What are you talking about?
I warned the user after you because they made those edits. Are you trying to say that it was your friend who made those edits?
--Nishkid64 22:57, 3 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thats exactly what I'm trying to say. Lets apply logic to the situation, does it make any sense for me to vandalise my own article?
You're missing something here. I did not say you vandalized the page. I warned the IP address who edited the page after you and added all the "gay" stuff. Why do you keep thinking I'm accusing you of vandalism? --Nishkid64 23:10, 3 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Long-Overdue RfA Thanks from Alphachimp

Thanks for your support in my not-so-recent RfA, which was successful with a an overwhelmingly flattering and deeply humbling total of 138/2/2 (putting me #10 on the RfA WP:100). I guess infinite monkey theorem has been officially proven. Chimps really can get somewhere on Wikipedia.

With new buttons come great responsibility, and I'll try my best to live up to your expectations. If you need assistance with something, don't hesitate to swing by my talk page or email me (trust me, I do respond :)). The same goes for any complaints or comments in regard to my administrative actions. Remember, I'm here for you.

Pain Connection - Chronic Pain Outreach Center, Inc.

Hi,

How do I link www.pain-connection.org to articles on pain, chronic pain, fibromyalgia, cancer....? I did it last night but I don't see them today. I am new and totally ignorant.
Thanks,
Gwenn HermanGwenn Herman 13:20, 6 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately, Wikipedia's guidelines forbid people from advertising. So, you can not add your website to the external links section of other articles just so people can see it and go to the website.

Sorry, but those are the rules.

im confused

it says i've been blocked but i have never edited anything on here and didn't even know i was a user. I'm very confused, if you could help me out to whats going on i'd be greatful 195.93.21.101 15.28, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

Well, you're an AOLer, and there are probably many other people sharing your IP address. If you did not vandalize any pages on Wikipedia, then your IP is probably blocked because some other AOLer with your IP address as well has been vandalizing on Wikipedia. The admins usually take this in account when they block users, which is why the blocks aren't that long. --Nishkid64 15:42, 6 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Pain Connection

Thank you for replying to my question. There are other organizations that are listed as "External Resources" after an article for example, under Chronic Pain, The Chronic Pain Association and The American Pain Foundation, so why can't Pain Connection be listed as another resource? Pain Connection is not advertising it is a non profit that provides services to chronic pain sufferers, families and the community like the other 2 organiztions listed above.

Hello: Thank you

Dude, i just don't understand why you waste your time correcting stuff on wikipedia. Is it because you live with you mom and are 100 pound overweight and are convicted of being gay. Please get a life, go out with your friends (if you have one, but i highly douth that). Just think about it, would you tell your friends you spend your time correcting stuff on wikipedia, NO, i know you won't, your would be toooo imbarrest.
