Racist

He is a racist as he says racist comments on video in his own words: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j1L1gNUPbTw My changes are not vandalism. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.48.193.78 (talk) 14:28, 2 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

WTF?

So who wrote this? At the very least it needs to be wikified. Zweifel 21:42, 1 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

About a year ago there was a much better page about Barber. Why have all sections on his political views been deleted?--Harmakhis (talk) 21:34, 8 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Per WP:BLP policy, I have removed all statements alleging links between Barber and the Libyan regime: if true, they need sourcing, which shouldn't be hard. AndyTheGrump (talk) 02:59, 23 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sourced and re-inserted. Jonathanwallace (talk) 05:40, 23 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. From looking at the source provided, this could maybe be expanded on a little (I'll come back to this myself later, if nobody else does), though it needs to be kept in proportion to the rest of the bio, which might also merit a little (factual) expansion. Any thoughts? AndyTheGrump (talk) 14:17, 23 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I have no objection, just was mildly concerned about WP:WEIGHT. Jonathanwallace (talk) 17:54, 23 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have added the references that source all the information about Barber and Libya and Gadaffi. This should be enough of sourcing and meets with the requirements

EagleEye (talk) 04:49, 7 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have reverted your edits, which were tendentious, and violated our neutrality standards. I did add the CNN article you found to the article as a reference, with a quote from Barber that he and Monitor hoped for "internal reform". The other source you added, margaretsoltan.com, is a blog, and per WP:SPS, we never quote blogs for assertions about living people. I think we can expand this more carefully with some of the criticisms and comments in reliable sources, and will be back to do that. Please also be aware of the three revert rule, and be careful not to "edit war" by constantly restoring content which editors here have explained to you is not acceptable. Jonathanwallace (talk) 07:13, 7 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Postscript: I reworked the paragraph to be a bit more neutral (it gave the impression that Barber was apologizing for something) and added his side of the story. If someone wants to take a stab at improving it, please do so. §FreeRangeFrogcroak 00:52, 22 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
