Welcome to the WikiProject Good articles. This wikiproject is designed to maintain the Good articles list, review the nomination entries and assist in the process of improving articles to good and featured article status.
ScopeWikipedia:Good articles (shortcut WP:GA) is a list of articles which are well written, broad, referenced, neutral and accurate, beyond those which have been rigorously reviewed and identified as the very best of Wikipedia by the featured article process. As the list should eventually contain many thousands of articles, this project has been formed to assist in the maintenance of the page. Tasks which members of this project may wish to assist with include:

StructureA good article will share many characteristics with featured articles, and like featured content it must:
Good articles may not be as thorough and detailed as our featured articles, but should not omit any major facets of the topic. Adopt an articleSimilar to the GA Collaboration of the week, but on a smaller scale, you might want to "adopt" an article. This would involve doing the research, writing, and picture-taking and the bringing of an article to FA status. Of course, everyone else can still edit an adopted article, and you can work on other things too, but the idea is to find a focus for a while and improve the quality of Good Articles.
