La Luna Sangre (Spanish for The Blood Moon) is an upcoming Philippine horror-action fantasy drama television series starring Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.[1] The series will premiere on ABS-CBN's Primetime Bida evening block and worldwide on The Filipino Channel on June 12, 2017, replacing My Dear Heart.

It is the third installment of Lobo and the sequel to the 2010 fantasy drama Imortal.[2]

Background and development

ABS-CBN released first trailer of Padilla and Bernardo's upcoming Philippine horror-action fantasy drama television series, "La Luna Sangre" (Spanish for The Blood Moon) in November.[3] The soap is set to be released this June 2017 given by Star Creatives Television after releasing another 1-minute teaser in March.[4]

Revival

ABS-CBN has revived the prequels, Lobo and Imortal, and aired 1-148 episodes on ABS-CBN Entertainment Youtube Channel. It will air from May 15-June 12, 2017 leading up to La Luna Sangre's premiere.
