Charlene Choi

Charlene Choi Cheuk Yin (Chinese: 蔡卓妍; Cantonese Jyutping: coi3 coek3 jin4; Mandarin Pinyin: Cài Zhuóyán) (born 22 November, 1982) is a member of the Cantopop girl group Twins, alongside Gillian Chung.

Biography

Charlene was born in Vancouver, Canada. However her family moved back to Hong Kong a year later. She currently stands at approximately 5 feet 6 inches. Since moving back to Hong Kong, she resides in Kowloon.

Charlene completed her schooling at a number of different institutions. She attended Marymount Secondary School, later on she attended Rosaryhill School. It is not entirely clear where she completed the rest of her schooling or ever attended post-secondary education like her Twins-partner Gillian Chung.

In 2001, she was offered to form the Emperor Entertainment Group musical group Twins with Chung (colloquially known as Gill). Choi since then has been come to known as Charlene, or simply Ah-Sa.
