Coimbatore Lok Sabha constituency is composed of the following assembly segments: Coimbatore North, Coimbatore South, Kaundampalayam, Singanallur, Sulur, Palladam. Before delimitation in 2009, it consisted of the following constituencies: Singanallur, Coimbatore West, Coimbatore East, Perur, Palladam and Tiruppur[2]
