Greater Belfast, also known as the Belfast Metropolitan Urban Area, is an area surrounding and including Belfast in Northern Ireland. It has a population of almost 700,000 people and is one of the biggest urban areas in the UK. Almost 1 million people live within a 20 mile radius from belfast city centre.
