Adwoa Aboah (born 18 May 1992) is a British fashion model and activist. In November 2017 she appeared on the cover of British Vogue.[3] She has also been on the cover of American Vogue, Vogue Italia and i-D.[4][5][6]

Early life

Aboah's parents are Charles Aboah and Camilla Lowther, both of whom are also in the fashion industry.[7][8] Her sister Kewesa is also a model.

Career

Aboah has modeled for Calvin Klein, Fendi,[9] DKNY, Alexander Wang,[10] Theory, H&M,[11] Aldo,[12] Versus (Versace), Topshop,[13] Fenty x Puma,[14] Kenzo, Simone Rocha, and Erdem among others.[15][16][17][18][19][20]

Aboah has an organisation for young women called Gurls Talk.[21][22][23]

She appear as 'Lia' in the 2017 Hollywood remake of Japanese movie franchise Ghost in the Shell.[24]

Personal life

Aboah has suffered from depression and drug addiction and is now sober.[26][27]
