January 2018

Hello, I'm Shellwood. I noticed that in this edit to Borwin, Duke of Mecklenburg, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Shellwood (talk) 22:39, 18 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Wedding of Prince Albert, Duke of York, and Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. DrKay (talk) 07:51, 19 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unsourced content. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. DrKay (talk) 18:15, 23 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits while logged out. Making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. Thank you. DrKay (talk) 18:15, 23 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Countess of Polignac

Sorry, I accidentally reverted your edit using Twinkle, leaving no explanation. Prince Albert II's sister is not "the Countess of Polignac" but a Countess of Polignac. The title is shared by all members of the family, similar to the title Archduke of Austria. Surtsicna (talk) 18:48, 9 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow, or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus. This includes making page moves while a discussion remains under way. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the testWikipedia. Thank you. When article titles have been discussed previously, e.g. Talk:Paul-Philippe Hohenzollern#Requested move and Talk:Princess Margareta of Romania#Requested move, any move should be treated as controversial and only moved after a successful requested move discussion. DrKay (talk) 08:05, 19 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to move pages to bad titles contrary to naming conventions or consensus, you may be blocked from editing. All the Hesse-Kassel articles have been the subject of previous discussions, so as I explained above they should not be moved without discussion. DrKay (talk) 21:18, 19 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. power~enwiki (π, ν) 02:33, 20 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you move a page maliciously, as you did at Francis, Duke of Cádiz. I told you twice above that you should not move pages when there is discussion on the talk page about the article title. Do not move pages unilaterally when there is or has been discussion of the title. DrKay (talk) 07:43, 20 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 72 hours for persistent disruptive editing, unwillingness to communicate, failure to use edit summaries and undiscussed "monarchist" moves. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
