Resources for starting your first article

After your first article

Check in on your article after a week, you might have some helpful messages. If you know how to fix these, then do so when you can, adding comments in the talk pages to update future editors. If you are lost, then you can either wait for someone to edit the page later, search on the above links or via the WikiProjects for tutorials/templates, or you can use my talk page (or other similarly helpful people's talk pages) to ask for help.

Articles

Categories

Use this list to make your articles more accessible. Add the most applicable categories to your articles, and prioritize the sub-category before the main category and categories that exist over those that do not. Not all of these categories exist, so double check, and if you do create a new category, remember to populate it with the relevant articles.

  • Category:Acoustical Society of America (Exists)
  • Category:All-female bands (Exists, needs way more sub-categories to make the page easier to navigate, use location and genre as starting points)
  • Category:Audio directors (Exists)
  • Category:Audio engineering awards (Exists, add more awards because more than 1 exists)
  • Category:Audio engineering schools (Exists, add the women focused audio engineering schools)

Lists

Lists are often populated by notable articles rather than all articles that fit the list's criteria. If a list has too many articles under it, it might be time to add a sub-list (and move the respective articles to that list). Prioritize Lists that exist over those that do not.
