In addition to the company's headquarters in San Francisco,[1] Airbnb has U.S. offices in Los Angeles, Portland, Oregon, and Seattle, among other locations. Airbnb's Experiences team is based in the Los Angeles office.[2] More than 200 employees work in the Portland office, which opened in Old Town Chinatown's Blagen Block as the company's first standalone customer experience center in 2014.[3][4][5] The Seattle office opened in mid 2018 and can accommodate up to 300 employees.[6][7] The company opened temporary offices in San Jose, California in 2019. Approximately 50 employees will work from the Riverpark Tower until a new product development office opens in South Bay in 2020.[8][9] Elsewhere in North America, the company has offices in Mexico City,[10] Montreal,[11] and Toronto.[12]

Airbnb's European offices are located in Amsterdam, Barcelona,[13] Berlin, Copenhagen, Dublin,[14] London,[15] Milan, and Paris, among other locations.[16][17][18] The 40,000-square-foot Dublin office, known as "The Warehouse", opened in Silicon Docks in 2016 and accommodates more than 400 employees.[14] The Hamburg office was Airbnb's first outside the United States, and opened with approximately 70 employees in mid 2011.[19]

In Asia, Airbnb has offices in Beijing,[20][21] Gurgaon,[22] Manila,[23] Seoul,[24] Singapore,[25] and Tokyo,[26] among other locations. There were approximately 140 employees in Beijing, as of 2018.[20] Airbnb's 5,000-square-foot office in Gurgaon's Udyog Vihar industrial park opened in 2018 and accommodates approximately 70 employees working in finance, marketing, operations, and sales.[22] The company's Seoul office is a house in the Itaewon district.[24] The Singapore office, located in the Downtown Core, had more than 200 employees, as of 2018.[25] The Tokyo office opened in the Shinjuku special ward in 2016.[27]

In Australia, the company opened an office in Sydney's Martin Place in 2016, and has additional offices in Surry Hills, New South Wales.[28][29][30] In South America, Airbnb has an office in São Paulo's Vila Madalena neighborhood.[15][31]
