Deletion of article - Pre-Poll & Post-Poll Surveys

Hi,

I See you have deleted the page that I had created citing the reason that it probably is a duplicate. However I would like to clarify that there is a stark difference between Pre-Poll Survey and Opinion Polls and also between an Exit Poll and Post-Poll Survey.

Guideline and policy news

• A request for comment seeking to alleviate pressures on the request an account (ACC) process proposes either raising the account creation limit for extended confirmed editors or granting the account creator permission on request to new ACC tool users.

• In a related matter, the account throttle has been restored to six creations per day as the mitigation activity completed.

• The scope of CSD criterion G8 has been tightened such that the only redirects that it now applies to are those which target non-existent pages.
• The scope of CSD criterion G14 has been expanded slightly to include orphan "Foo (disambiguation)" redirects that target pages that are not disambiguation pages or pages that perform a disambiguation-like function (such as set index articles or lists).
• A request for comment seeks to determine whether Wikipedia:Office actions should be a policy page or an information page.

Technical news

• The Wikimedia Foundation's Community health initiative plans to design and build a new user reporting system to make it easier for people experiencing harassment and other forms of abuse to provide accurate information to the appropriate channel for action to be taken. Community feedback is invited.

Miscellaneous

• In February 2019, the Wikimedia Foundation (WMF) changed its office actions policy to include temporary and project-specific bans. The WMF exercised this new ability for the first time on the English Wikipedia on 10 June 2019 to temporarily ban and desysop Fram. This action has resulted in significant community discussion, a request for arbitration (permalink), and, either directly or indirectly, the resignations of numerous administrators and functionaries. The WMF Board of Trustees is aware of the situation, and discussions continue on a statement and a way forward. The Arbitration Committee has sent an open letter to the WMF Board.

Ubongo (company) page

Hi Fabrictramp,

A Wikipedia page I created, Ubongo (company) , was deleted 17 days ago. I tried to start a collective draft on Creating Draft:Ubongo (company) but when I try to leave the page, it says I risk losing the entire page.

Also, I was told my page doesn't meet the notability criteria and I will have to fundamentally re-write the page for it to be approved for Wikipedia. Ubongo as a company absolutely meets notability criteria – it's become a household name in like 9 different African countries. It's an incredibly popular cartoon series. They have 11 million viewers a week.

Can you help give me some pointers about how to re-write this in order for it to be approved? Thank you!!

Okay yes I understand that. I read all the pages and it states you can write a Wiki article even if you have a conflict of interest as long as it follows guidelines.

I don't understand how my page doesn't follow guidelines. It's straight to the point, not fluffy, and isn't self promoting. I'm simply stating WHAT the company is and what they do. I'm not making any value statements about them (good/bad).

Can you offer more help please?

First, don't confuse "can" and "should". You can write an article about Ubongo, but given that you have failed several times to write an article that shows the company is notable from a neutral point of view means that you probably should not. Looking at the deleted version of the article, it reads like a brochure from Ubongo, not an encyclopedia article.

Second, as I said before, the links on your talk page have information on what is needed for a good article. Jimfbleak has also given you a tremendous amount of good advice there. ----Fabrictramp | talk to me 22:09, 10 July 2019 (UTC)

He is a notable person and if you view Corbin Bleu and Brenda song american stars are his patients. He has done a lot for the los angeles. I will publish soon.
